We've been there twice now and it is wonderful, period. Don't expect anything like a usual US style hotel or motel, this is more like a home. Randy and Katie make you feel like you are part of a family.

This was our second time at the Old Pine Inn, having stayed there in October 2007 the first time. Katie and Randy are wonderful hosts. We stayed in the Miner's Suite in the Inn, and every day we managed to enjoy the peacefulness of sitting in front of our own gas stove, listening to the quiet, and enjoying the hospitality of the innkeepers. Our horseback riding trip got rained out, but we didn't care! We enjoyed the food, company and graciousness of everyone associated with the Old Pine Inn. Just do it!

I took a group of customers and booked the entire hotel including cabins. They have a sign over the door "Enter as strangers, Leave as friends" and it was as the sign said. Randy and Katie are the most gracioius, friendly hosts I have ever met. As others have said, they make you feel like family and that's no exaggeration. The hotel itself is original with all the antique furniture and pictures, etc. Even the tubs are the original claw feet tubs. It's like a trip back in time, but updated to provide the comforts necessary. Even if it weren't in the heart of ATV country, it would be worth a stay just for the experience. One other thing......Randy and Katie cook the BEST food! It doesn't say so on the web page, but they will custom cook dinner and provide lunches by request...and it's well worth it! The food was marvelous. My favorite was bacon wrapped filet mignon with HOME MADE ice cream for desert (I kid you not...the Ice Cream churn was turning on the back porch as we ate dinner. Our group rented ATVs directly from Randy/Katie and it was a complete pleasant experience. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone who even thinks they want to go to Marysvale. It's not just a place to stay, it's an experience on it's own.

Cabin was great. Wealth of local information just by asking. Went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. We liked it so much we are going back in September with friends. We are already talking about another trip later in the winter and again in the spring. Whitewater rafting and ATV riding no more than 5 minutes away. Most welcoming hosts we have ever met. Breakfeast was well worth the extra.
