“Big letdown”

I have always looked forward to staying a night at anniversary inn, ever since I was a kid and they first opened and I took a tour. For 330$ a night, I was expecting something pretty amazing. So my wife got me this as a Christmas present, and I was SO excited about it. So we got there, and she opened up the door, and there it was, the reason she got this room, a pinball machine, how cool, oh.. it's broken? They didn't forewarn you about it? Classy. Pretty cool room though, I don't think they do very good upkeep on it. Some of the wallpaper was peeling off, and while the pool table was cool in the room, there were blue chalk dots from the cues all over the ceiling. Insulation was bad, could hear the people talking, walking, and doing other "activities" upstairs. The mood lighting in the jacuzzi did not work either. You'd expect at that kind of price per night, something amazing, right? The food service was fun, and on time. Comfortable bed. We had fun, but this was very far below my expectation of what anniversary inn was going to be. They could have easily contacted my wife and told her that the pinball machine was not working, and asked if she would like to change dates, or get a full refund. When my wife complained about the broken pinball machine as we checked out, the lady at the front desk said "oh you don't know how hard it is to find someone to repair that". Nice. We will not be returning.

“Great Experience”

My husband and I stayed in the La Hacienda suite. The room was clean and was decorated with fun details. The bed was comfortable and our room was very quiet. I was most impressed with the service, the front desk was very helpful. The breakfast was good, too. We had the ham and cheese croissant and the raspberry cream cheese croissant. They provide cheesecake in the room when you check in so I would recommend the ham and cheese for breakfast to avoid sugar overload! Overall we were very happy.

Room Tip: La Hacienda was fun.

“Employees woke us up”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2011

My wife and I stayed over on a Friday night. We were awoke in the middle of the night by party noise from the room above us. I called the desk to complain and the noise was less but we could still hear talking and footsteps (crappy insulation).

When I spoke to the manager, after our stay, she told me that it was employees that had been in the room above us. She further explained that she allows employees to stay in the rooms so they can experience what the guests experience.

She gave me $50.00 credit (half of what I had paid for a early check-in) and said that was all I was going to get on a $300.00 room charge.

Obviously, had I known that employees were going to be partying in the room above us I never would have booked a room,

Very amateurish for a hotel that claims to be for couples only to allow employees to party in a room above us and then give insult me with a very weak credit.

We'll never stay there again and also I'll be letting everyone that I know what a terrible experience we had.

Room Tip: Don't stay here. Employees are more valued than you are!

“Really like this place!”

We have been to the A.I. in Logan several times, and will continue to come back. We most recently stayed in the Tipi Room, which was nicely decorated and comfortable. The only complaint was that the room located below us had very loud movies playing and we could hear them late into the night and again in the morning. Otherwise, no complaints! We will be back and will continue to try out the other rooms.

“Creative but neglected”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 July 2011

My husband and I stayed here during an extensive trip through Utah and the Northwest. We were in the "Pyramids of Egypt" room, which included a bust of King Tut over the toilet, colorful murals on the bedroom walls, and two golden cobra water spouts in the large soaker tub. Very creative and detailed. We were surprised to find a bottle of sparkling cider on ice in our room, and two delicious slices of cheesecake in the mini-fridge.
Unfortunately, the same care was not taken with upkeep. The room smelled musty, in spite of several air fresheners. The carpet was grimy and worn, and the windowsills were very dirty. In addition, there was a panel coming off of one of the heat registers and the mattress sagged in the middle.
Finally, the breakfast was delivered directly to our room, but it was not up to B and B standards. It included coffee, tea and juice, a yogurt, granola and berry parfait, and our choice of cinnamon roll, ham and cheese croissant, or two other selections. While it was relaxing to eat together in our Egyptian room, the fare was lighter than expected in a bed and breakfast establishment.

Room Tip: Take a look at the website for decor options.
