I stayed at the Best Western Timpanogos for three nights this past March. I was taking a course and part of it took place at the hotel.

Overall, I had a good experience and would stay there again. Here are my observations:

1. Front Desk and Staff - they were friendly and helpful from the time I checked in until the time I checked out. Checking in and out was smooth. Cleaning staff was friendly. I didn't ask for anything while I was there so I 'm not sure how efficient they were.

2. My room and Hallways - no problems. I reserved it online and got what was advertised. It was clean and tidy. The cleaning staff did a good job for the duration of my stay. Halls and walkways were clean. I don't remember an elevator (2-story building) - I carried my bags upstairs.

3. Breakfast - There was enough variety for me, the food was hot and plenty. Nothing fancy - no complaints here. I was happy with it.

4. Parking - plenty of parking. No safety issues for me.

5. Internet - they had a desktop with a good internet connection. I was able to print out some maps. Good enough for me.

6. Other - they had a pool which I didn't use but other people seemed to enjoy. They had a small workout room that I didn't use either. I noticed the treadmill was out of order.

7. Value - decent value. I wished my rate was a little lower. I would stay there again.

Close to shopping mall and restaurants. Fast food is within walking distance. Nice, large pool area. We chose this location for it's proximity to Cabela's, which is less than 5 miles away.

My two teenage sons and I stayed here for six nights. Easy to find and central to everything we were doing in the area, we were surprised at how much we found to like about this hotel. We had booked a "deluxe" room which was the same price as the regular room. It was large and included two comfortable armchairs and a work station. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was clean and fresh. There was a small refrig and microwave in the room which saved us on quick snacks and packing lunches. The breakfast buffet was fresh and one of the best we have experienced in a long time. The staff was helpful and resolved our one room issue quickly. The pool was heated and gave my boys a place to unwind at the end of the day. We felt safe and the nights were quiet. Great stay.

Over and over I keep reading how friendly and helpful the staff are, and it is all true! The rooms are spacious and clean (the bathroom was spotless), and the free breakfast had tons of choices. But yes, the one thing that stands out was the friendly staff! We were on a long trip and when our family could not agree upon which city we were in exactly (!), the front desk person was understanding and answered us without snickering.
