“Just like most other Springhill Suites”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

Dont expect anything much different at this SS than you get any any other...it falls right in line with the others. The location is nice as it is right next door to Thanksgiving Point. It is a Nature type place and they have a pretty good Deli type resteraunt to make up for the lack of lunch or dinner available from the hotel. Also has a movie theater (8) nearby. The access has been re-routed and it is harder to get to off of the interstate now so know you will have to make several turns to get to the hotel now. Rooms are clean (did find a hair in my tub though...my pet peeve!) and well appointed. Standard SS furniture and a good size LG flat screen shared by the living room and bedroom areas...36 different channels to watch. Standard shower head you get at most Marriott properties. Towels are rather small and thin...took two to dry me off fully. Only soap, shampoo, and conditioner provided. No lotion or other items like cotton balls or q-tips in the room. Front desk people are nice enough and the market is small but well stocked for its size. Prices are more than down the street at the gas station but within what I expect to pay for the conviniance. Ovarall a good value but nothing extra special about this one than any other except the location.

“Good Hotel with minimal drawbacks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

My wife and I visited this hotel for a family get together. It was a good hotel it almost all areas. First, the pros. I was very please with the breakfast. It was a good variety and better than the average hotel breakfast. The staff was extremely friendly, and lastly, the hotel was in a great centralized location. The cons: There were really very minimal cons, neither of which would prevent me from staying here again. First off, my wife and I stayed on the third floor in the back of the building. I don't know exactly WHY but for some reason they decided to light up their back parking lot like a stadium. On the third floor, the lights come RIGHT into the room, which cause the room to be overly lit up. Which made it a little hard to sleep. The other two, are that 1 it was really hot in the hotel (easily fixed with some AC) and the hallways were really small.

None of the cons would stop me from staying here again

“Excellent Extended Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

We were looking for a comfortable place for an extended stay of 12 days over the Christmas Holidays 2011. We found hit in Springhill Suites. We loved the place. The room was well appointed, and had a partial divider between the sleeping area and the sitting area and the mini-kitchen (fridge and microwave). The place was kept impeccably clean. The bedding was very comfortable (even got the feather pillow I requested). The breakfast was good. There always was a choice of meat, eggs and waffles, along with the usual continental stuff. Most importantly to me, the coffee station was excellent, and their was plenty of comfortable seating_even a fireplace. This was nice because being an early riser unlike my spouse, I could get coffee and sit by the fireplace with my laptop to catch up on things. The small pool was enjoyed by my grandkids. All the staff were friendly and most helpful. What a value!

“Top notch for an off-the-freeway hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

I wanted to spend the weekend at a local property as a getaway, and found the Springhill Suites more than adequate. The staff were friendly, the property clean. Every morning, a full buffet breakfast was served, with meat, egg, cereals, waffles and assorted breads and juices, along with hot coffee or teas. I especially enjoyed the super clean indoor swimming pool and hot spa, towels provided.

The room was large enough, with a sitting area (sofa and chair), a desk, and a wetbar with coffeemaker, microwave oven, mini fridge and cabinets for storing foodstuffs. The large flat screen TV swivels from the sitting area to the bed area. The bath is separated into a sink/vanity area and the shower/toilet area. Toiletries are provided, and anything you've forgotten can be purchased at the mini-mart down in the lobby. They also sell drinks and snacks, plus some meal items that can be warmed up in the microwaves.

This property is located next door to Thanksgiving Point, where you can shop, eat, tour the history museum, or see a movie. There is a secret garden in between the hotel and the Point, where you can relax to the sounds of babbling creeks and waterfalls. There is also a back patio behind the hotel with lounge chairs and a gazebo for relaxing.

I love this hotel, and will be back when I need time away from work and home.

“Merely Adequate Business Hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 June 2011

We spent a week in Lehi on business, and chose to stay at this Springhill because of its proximity to the office. Check-in was fine and efficent. The rooms are "suites", but fairly cramped for space. I have been in Super 8 motels with more square footage. The room was clean and the maid service was excellent. My main complaints with the hotel were around the very slow internet connections. The wi-fi was extremely slow and the hardwire available in the room was not much better. They need to upgrade their bandwidth. The hotel was also fairly noisy due to a local soccer tournament. This is not the fault of the hotel, but the doors are very loud and the walls are somewhat thin. The window shades also generally did not block out enough light which is a problem on the non-freeway side as there are flood lights illuminated all night long (according to a colleague staying on that side). The noise from the interstate on the other side of the hotel is also a bit lout. The elevator is very slow, and the stairs are only available at the end of the hallways. The exercise room only has three machines, and they are not fully functional. The breakfast was a standard with hot options as well as cold, and exceeded what most hotels offer. We will probably look into another property on our next trip.

Room Tip: Probably 1st floor, freeway (less lights/noise)
