“Great bargain!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Went to Utah for the first time for a business conference and wanted a good bargain and I found it! Not only was the price right, but the room was very clean and the bed was super comfy! The continental breakfast was really nice too! I highly recommend this hotel! It was about 30mins from Salt Lake City and the airport.

Room Tip: Pet friendly.

“Very good hotel, friendly, helpful staff.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

We stayed here from 12th December to 19th December 2011 to attend our son's wedding and also experience a taste of America.

We were very tired after a long 15 hour journey and were shown to Room 214. This had two queen size beds, bathroom with bath and shower over, fridge, microwave, tv and coffee maker. Plenty of storage space, but a little short on coathangers.

The room was clean and the beds had clean bedlinen and were extremely comfortable.

The only thing missing was tea making facilities as my husband doesn't like coffee, but we had taken a travel kettle with us. One problem we did find was that the adapter we had purchased in England was only 2pin but the sockets were 3pin, so it was a little precarious balancing the plug and took a long time to boil due to different voltages.

Breakfast consisted of cereals, tea, coffee, toast with jams and waffles. It wasn't hurried at all, but weekend was busier but this could have been because of the season. Most guests seemed to be overnights.

The staff were really helpful, especially Naomi who worked the Reception in the Mornings. She always had a welcome every morning and was very interested in the English cultures, especially the Royal family. She was really helpful when it came to giving us details of the best places to see.

The Laundry was a little expensive, but at least its there. The pool was having a new heater installed while we were there, but this was finished before we left and folk were enjoying a swim and the spa pool. We were assured it was lovely and warm, but didn't take advantage of it.

Be aware though, the hotel is at the side of the Freeway and there is nothing around it like corner shops etc. There is a chemist across the busy Freeway, and behind this, quite a walk, is a shopping complex with a Target supermarket, DIY store and clothes stores etc., There are quite a few restaurants around the corner though.

All in all, this hotel served its purpose of somewhere comfortable to stay during our short visit and should we ever visit this part again, we wouldn't hesitate in stopping here.

We would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: If you can't find the stairs, just ask. They seem to be hidden but they are there.

“One week stay”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

We stayed here for one week during the summer because all other hotels were booked. This was definitely my worst hotel stay ever. We would've checked out after the first night but all other hotels were booked.

The hotel was very loud. It reminded me of my freshman dorm room days, but it was actually louder. The hallways reeked of chlorine and our bedroom had the smell of musty old carpet. We also had trouble getting our room serviced TWO days in a row and had notes left under the door that they were going to service our room but we had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door which was NOT true. I noticed another reviewer had the same thing happen. My husband went to the front desk to ask for towels and was told they were out of towels. I then went and demanded towels and suddenly a whole stack of clean towels was found. Kids running in the hallways..yuck..worst hotel stay EVER!

“Helpful staff, good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 December 2011

The staff was very friendly and helpful about helping us find restaurants and stores in the area. Located across the street from a CVS Pharmacy and walking distance to Target, etc. Rooms were clean and spacious, lots of parking and easy to get into and out of.

Room Tip: Second floor near the elevator are a bit noisy.

“Great place to stay at a resonable price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 November 2011

We have been staying here for years and have never been dissapointed! The rooms are nice, in good repair and clean. There is plenty of parking and if you are pulling a trailer you can park and stay hooked up. The breakfast of eggs, toast, cereal, waffles and yogurt is more than adequate. The staff are always friendly and their rapid check in is a joy.
