Very helpful front desk person, clean rooms, and close to an excellent restaurant Nedro's Too which we ate in. Very happy with choice.Hotel was recommended by other travelers who had stayed there before. Didn't have the breakfast offered, so no comment on that.

Look, you're not coming to this motel for your honeymoon. It is a place to stay the night... that's all you should expect. For that, and the price, it is pretty good. It's like this, you want excellent? Then go to the JW Marriott, Ritz, Four Seasons etc. You want cheap? That what you will get here. Don't expect a flat panel TV, or a well appointed room with all the little extras. What you will get here (I paid $48 +tax) is a clean, newly redone, room, that is ample size, has clean bathroom, new towels, free WiFi in the room, free continental breakfast, TV and A.C. Sure, I could have paid $108-$118 (most other hotels are in this range) and then I would have gotten a mini-fridge and microwave in my room, but for the $70 difference, well I don't know about you but that is noticeable. I found the Royal Inn couple to be friendly and helpful. I asked to see a few rooms first and I picked the best, duh. Bottomline: If passing through again, I would stay at this motel for the price. Heads-up: Expedia, Travelocity, etc. all have this motel priced at around $70+... Look, I just drove into town and saw the sign for $48 a room, so, you might want to try that or best yet, call 'em (---).

If you like staying in a double wide trailer with 70's to 80s decor then this is for you. I cannot believe they can charge for this....They couldn't pay me to stay here again A concrete slab would be more comfortable . Pitiful 19' TV mounted in the top corner of the room, shower only, and a small one at that..... moldy.....room keys didn't work half the time. Room service skipped us one of the days there. plastic blinds on the window let all sorts of light in. day and night.

There is really nothing else around here - there are a few big chains like Best Western and Holiday Inn, but they are all booked in advance, and we were driving through the national parks and stopped here for the night.

It wasn't super cheap, and it wasn't nice, but it was a place to put your head down for the night. OK if your expectations aren't high.
