Having never stopped in Green River, we were pleasantly surprised to find a gem of a motel/hotel. This is a nicely updated 1960's era motel. It is located right next to the river and offers some very nice comfortable rooms in an older style. The rooms have interior hallways and give the feel of a hotel more than a motel. The staff is very enthusiastic and helpful. It is one of the nicest places to stay in town.

If entering town from the West, you will be a little bothered by what you see in the way of accomodations before crossing the river. The western section of town looks like it went out of business a number of years ago and was not anything much before it quit.
Stick with it because the River Terrace Inn is really worth the experience. All the important current amenities are present. (Flat screen, free breakfast, etc.) Give it a try and I find it hard to believe you will be disappointed. There a couple of newer places on the east side of town, but they do not have the charm of the this establishment.

Everything was wonderful from the extremely friendly and helpful staff at check-in to our spacious room, to the delicious included breakfast.
Because the beds were so comfortable and the rooms so quiet we had a very good sleep.
They also give a senior's discount for over 55.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our view of the river. You can't beat the breakfast. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Beautiful hotel. Lovely grounds, rooms, decor. Fabulous breakfast included in the price. Gorgeous outdoor seating by the river. Definitely a great place. Would stay there again.
