A clean room that was very decent (perhaps even good) value for money in this area where everything costs an arm and a leg. We arrived, picked up the key (the reception is like a cheap hostel) and settled in the room. The room was clean with all the basics that we needed. It was quiet, the beds were good and we got a good night's sleep. We left very early in the morning with no hassle.

I would recommend this place if you want an affordable place to sleep (and do nothing else in) whilst visiting Bryce Canyon.

I see a lot of complaints from other users but I can't figure out what they are griping about. Totally acceptable at this price point. Clean, modern enough, lots of tv stations, lots of hot water in the shower, decent coffee in the morning (no donuts or anything, though). Really just fine. Sure it's no "resort", but what are you expecting?

Don't be fooled by the name - definitely not a resort. Roadside Motel. Location is good in relation to the park. No elevator - so you have to lug your bags to the second floor if you do not get a first floor room. Rooms are clean but need some serious updating. Shower head must have been put in for very short people and I am only 5'5". Door was difficult to close - made me feel unsecured. Walls are thin. Bed was comfy - served its purpose. Did not spend much time in the room so it served its purpose. Would go elsewhere next time.

Foster's Steakhouse good place to eat at reasonable prices. 16oz prime rib $16.99 inlcudes potatoe and salad bar. Fosters also has a bakery - very good.

Bryce Canyon Lodge - good food, good price - go early - gets busy around 6:30 to 8 and they do not take reservations.

Despite its name this is no more than a low budget roadside motel. Better to stay further afield in good quality accommodation than to put up with the disappointment. Try places in Tropic - a small and interesting town nearby. Getting a good place to eat in Bryce, we found impossible.
