Be careful this is a runout ill maintained hotel. This is no longer a Best Western. I did not have time to do any research since the B&B we booked at was a dump. I had to find another place in Blanding on a moments notice. The hotel is run down and the room was really smelly.....sort of like a locker room. The A/C system was dirty smelled nasty when turned on. The entire property is poorly lit and you don't feel very safe. Because of the odor, I had to leave the window open and had to listen to trucks running up the highway all night.

The Gateway Inn in located in the small town of Blanding, Utah about 80 miles south of Moab. It appears to be an older style motel but had been well maintained. The front desk clerk was very pleasant and did her job well. The room was adequate and very clean. This is a no-frills motel- nothing more than bed, bath and TV. A very simple continental breakfast is included in the price and gave us a good start in the morning. Blanding appears to be a very quiet, small town and we felt very safe there.

Out dated and nasty is not even close ice mich. broke,ac cut on and off all night didnt cool, pool broke just the pitts for a place to stay

Stayed for 1 night, had a long good sleep on one of the best beds during this trip so far!
The rooms are a little outdated but several rooms were being restyled. The swimmingpool needs maintenance. The road noise wasn't very bad, the breakfast was simple but adequate. Staff is friendly.
