We traveled to Winnsboro for a family reunion and stayed at one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The host was always there when we needed him but gave us our freedom to visit and be together as a family. We all loved the privacy of the pool and the bullfrogs, in the pond, sang to their hearts content making a joyous background symphony (and many laughs). The flowers were breathtaking in the gardens. The breakfast was excellent! Coffee, juice, bacon, sausage, delicious scrambled eggs and pancakes like my Mother used to make. There were some dietary restrictions and the host was most gracious and accommodating. It was a wonderful visit and my whole family has high hopes of returning. Winnsboro is a wonderful little town and this B&B is it's crowning jewel!

We have been going to Winnsboro every year for 15 yrs. We always stay at Thee Hubbell House and our group takes the entire estate for the weekend. We saw a vast improvement after the current owners bought the property. They expanded the grounds, built a gazebo, put in a pond, put in wireless internet, an in ground pool and now TV's in every room, not just the carriagehouse rooms. Most places deteriorate over time, but every year it seems this bed & breakfast is better than the year before! The breakfast is something we crave throughout the year! The pancakes are perfect and the owner still won't give up the secret for his scrambled eggs! The grounds are so beautiful and the rooms are always spotless. Upscale amenities found in only the best hotels (and we have stayed in the best). The entire town of Winnsboro has also grown and improved every year. The town & the B&B are one of east Texas's best kept secrets, but I thought it was time I stepped forward and gave praise where praise is due!

Decor is tattered and aged; everything feels like it needs attention. Floors needed dusting and there was no housekeeping service during our two day stay. Breaksfast was pleasant. Definitely not a high end experience.

Thee Hubble House is a great place to sit back and relax. The house is great! The grounds surrounding it are beautiful and it is so quiet and serene. The breakfast was delicious. The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful. We will return again!!
