When we arrived at the B&B, it was raining, which everyone was very glad to see. We were met in the parking lot by the owner with an extra umbrella for our use. This impressed me right away. He was very courteous and friendly and adjusted the breakfast time for our convenience. Since this was not our first trip to Winnsboro we knew of some good places to eat but Tim suggested a couple of others we might also want to try. We did and the food was wonderful (but I will save that for another review). The breakfast the next morning was pleasant surprise and the table setting beautiful. He wouldn't give me the secret to his scrambled eggs, but they may have been the best I have ever eaten. The pancakes were homemade, the syrup hot and real butter. Good home cooking with bacon & sausage and all the coffee and orange juice we wanted. He even gave us coffee and bottled waters to take with us. When we visit Winnsboro again, we will definitely stay at The Hubbell House. Maybe in the summer to take advantage of their beautiful pool.
