My husband and I where stranded on Christmas eve and had to stay in the only hotel available. We ask to see their rooms before we booked a room. They where very nice enough to show us a room. It looked clean and we said sure we will stay here. Soon as we put our luggage down, the ROACHES came out of the wood works! SOOOO GROSS! I STARTED REALLY LOOKING at the room and notice they haven't vacuumed in a while. The cleaner they used on the counters was just sprayed on and it got all over our stuff. The workers lived in the hotel and their kids ranned wild. They also had Christmas lights hanging in the people's windows that lived there. So gheto! Down in the basement lived the Wichita Fall bums.... DONT STAY HERE IT IS SO GROSS AND DIRTY!

We got married in Wichita Falls while my husband was at tech school there. I chose this hotel because I like to experience non-chain hotels. The hotel is pretty old. Parts of the hotel are remodeled and other parts are still pretty old. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but it was only open during certain times of the day. One unexpected perk is that the front desk saw that we were leaving for the court house to get married, and when we returned to the hotel, the resaurant had cut up a platter of fresh fruit and gave it to us as a nice little gift. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating.

Got a rate of 45 bucks. Hotel is an older remodeled Ramada Inn. I like the older funkier places and staying in an old downtown spot is exactly what I wanted. I was not disappointed, from underground parking, to there being a street dance downtown while I was there (I had no clue ahead of time) It was great!

Remodelers did a wonderful job of keeping the art-deco looks of a 1950/1960 hotel intact. Don't expect a Hyatt.....and you won't pay Hyatt prices....all in all a very nice little place to stay.

You can go anywhere in town by car in 10 minutes of less!

We chose this hotel as it was 2 1/2 stars and the price was right. We used mapquest to locate it...and got lost in a very run down part of town. Thats where we found the hotel. I guess it is under construction. !st non-smoking room we got,was complete with ash tray and heavy smoke smell. got that changed. the bed was nice except for the heavily stained bottom sheet.. the toilet was a gas station variety of the 1950's.dropped ceiling in bath..NO HOT WATER,NO COFFEE POT!! Would have had to wait until 8:30 am for coffee in the restaurant..and no comp breakfast... staff was nice,clueless,but nice. it is about a 1 star.
