We stayed at this La Quinta for 2 nights. Our room was very spacious - king bed with a queen sleeper sofa, work desk, 2 chairs and still lots of room for moving around. It was quiet except for the usual noisy air conditioner - I wish that every hotel would burn those things and get something quieter! This one wasn't any noisier than any others. They all annoy me, so I just use earplugs and deal with it.
The interior public spaces as well as the room was very clean and in excellent condition. My usual complaint applies: I'm not a fan of the pre-made egg patties they use for the "hot breakfast" part of the meal at many hotels, but I understand why they go that route. More fresh pieces of fruit would have been nice - they were out by the time we got downstairs on our first morning there, but they had bananas and some fruit salad on the second day. But, I don't go there for the food so it's just a convenience thing for us. They had "eggs", sausage patties, biscuits, bagels, cream cheese, toast, cereal boxes (good variety), yogurt, instant oatmeal, and the usual breakfast drinks on both days. The make-your-own waffles were there too - always a treat for the kiddos and these are tasty and tender.
There were PLENTY of places to eat nearby, even within walking distance: Genghis Grill, Jason's Deli, Freebirds Burritos, a sushi place, a breakfast/lunch place and many more.
We took our newly adopted shelter doggy with us, and she was very comfy and happy. There were plenty of green spaces nearby for her to use. This was my first time ever to travel with a dog, so I was pleased that there was no additional fee at all for the dog to stay.
In terms of price, I found that this hotel was on La Quinta's list of discounted hotels for the weekend. It was a last minute deal and it saved us $20/night. All in all, this was a great find and I would stay again!
