I have no negatives about this hotel. My husband and I stay here every year for the past 5 years.The front desk Jill, Summer, Lisa, Troy and Molly are very friendly. Molly has been there about 1 1/2 years but the rest of the crew have been with the hotel ever since we started going. That's a plus for the hotel. Most hotels have a different crew all the time.
The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is great, your choice of eggs,bacon,gravy,bisquits,waffles,fruit,toast,bagel, and much more. The pool and spa are always invitable. They have a gym so you can enjoy while waiting on your wash to get done. Yes they have a laundry room and the price is very good and my clothes come out as clean as when I do it at home.
As far as shopping (which I love to do) you have the shopping plaza right next door. You can even walk to it. Walmart is some what across the street.
Eating, there are many restaurants. There is Ihop, you can walk to it, On the Border, Logan's, Fina pizza, Domino's, The Steakhouse, and plenty more restaurants on the other side of the bridge.
And I must say that housekeeping is very good and respectful.
I can't stress enough about this hotel and all the convienciences to it.
Plan on visiting again in Oct. 2011.

Great stay at this La Quinta. The room was clean and well-maintained, with a flatscreen, and there were no problems with anything. Staff was efficient and friendly, check-in was quick and easy. Breakfast had a wide range of choices - cereal, fruit, pastries, muffins, bacon, eggs, waffles, coffee, juice etc. There is a Walmart pretty much right across the street if you need supplies. Overall I was impressed and would stay here again!

Clean and perfect for weary travelers. Bed was very comfy and the room was quiet.

Was here for almost a week waiting out an ice storm. Hotel is exactly what you expect from La Quinta brand. It was clean with comfortable bedding. The breakfast was standard La Quinta fare but did offer one hot option each day, rotating from eggs to biscuits and gravy, in addition to the waffles. The staff are what stood out here. They were all very friendly and accomodating, especially in light of all the people there due to the weather. Many people were checking in because they did not have power in their homes. There were some issues with barking dogs but it was minimal. Parking was convenient and the hotel is located near many restaurants. Would stay here again....and am, because I'm already booked to return.
