“Good but over-priced.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

The motel is fine overall. My room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and clean, and everything was in working order. Friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast was good and they have hot waffles, cereal, muffins, bagles, milk/juice/coffee, etc. They have free WI-FI in the rooms and it worked well for me. The big downside was the room rate of $118 per night which is high for this type of motel. We stayed here during Thanksgiving so that may have played a factor in the rates. I've paid $20-$30/night less for nicer hotels.

“Rip off for the $ - run down, poor service, dirty”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 December 2011

I stayed here on a last minute trip with my fmaily for a funeral. The room was completely overpriced ($130 for 2 double beds) for the product. The motel is run down with multiple cracks, patched holes, and leaky faucets. The bathroom is covered in mold. There were hairs all over the bathroom floor and hanging out of the hair dryer. Bedding was ok, but double beds and these rooms are quite small to share with other adults.

I went to the front office to get towels since they didn't provide enough (of the small, rough, low quality "towels") for 4 people, but a large group was taking a long time to be checked-in. I went to the room and called for towels, but they said I had to come back tot he office myself to get them. Vending machines don't work properly. Breakfast is ok- basic continental stuff.

I personally will never stay here again at any cost, but would say that this is what I would expect out of a $50/night room, not a $130 one. Yuck!

Room Tip: don't do it!

Burn holes in the bedspread. Dripping faucet. Thin towels. Old television. I could go on but what's the point. Will never stay here again at any price.

“Excellent Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 July 2011

First time we stayed at this hotel, but we had a great time. Both of our rooms were clean, the pool area was clean with a good size pool and the front desk was friendly. Only negative to our stay was that they put the breakfast away at 9 am. It is close to restaraunts and shopping. Even though this hotel has been around a while it seemed to be in pretty good shape.

“Dated, but not bad”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 June 2011

My kids and I stayed here for a wedding. We just needed a place to crash for the night. This is an older style motel with outside facing doors. It's clean, but basic. The pool area was adequate for a quick dip to cool off, although I would have preferred it to be cleaner. The breakfast area was cramped and didn't have as many options as other La Quintas. Would probably stay here again in a pinch, but it would not be my first choice in Victoria.
