I arrived in Victoria thinking it would be easy to find a reasonably priced room in this tiny town. Whoops! I went from place to place, finding them either out of rooms or charging $150 for a standard room. I gave up at the desk of the Fairfield Inn and handed over my credit card. What I got was a fine room, a good night's sleep, and a bill that made me wince. I was told there is a lot of construction in the area, bringing transient workers to town. Whatever the reason, I suggest the pass-through traveler make plans to not stop in Victoria.
We spent one night here while visting family. It was a comfortable room, a good complimentary breakfast, and a nice staff. When the computer in the lobby wouldn't print my boarding pass the woman at the front desk let me use her computer! It's in a busy area next to the Victoria Mall, restaurants and a large grocery store(HEB), so we found it to be ideal!
Statyed at the Fairfield to attend a local wedding. It couldn't have been nicer. the inn was well maintained, clean and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Very accommodating to those with handicap accessible needs and an alll around great place to stay.
just a standard hotel, nothing paarticulary good, but nothing bad either, though the room did have a bit of a stale smell to it.
