“A Nice Value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

Spent one night here, on a family trip. The front desk clerk who checked us in was very nice. We were given a room on the second floor and noise was not a factor for us. The room was spacious and very clean. We requested double beds as our 7 year old daughter was traveling with us. We missed breakfast in the morning as I forgot that it was a Monday and the breakfast time is shorter than on the weekends. I asked the lady that was cleaning up if it were possible to obtain some orange juice. She walked right over, powered up the juice machine and filled up a cup for me. In all, it was a pleasant stay and the place was nice. This location is one of the older LaQuinta's, that hasn't been upgraded, so don't expect anything "Super Fancy". It is a good value for your money for a one or two night stay.

“Good for a non-frightening cheap sleep”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 December 2011 via mobile

This is a good place if you're stuck in Tyler for the night & just looking for a cheap place to spend the night, where you don't have to fear for your life. It's got an old musty smell but its clean enough. I probably wouldn't spend more than a night or two & wouldn't expect high quality. It's also loud. You can hear all your surrounding neighbors' noise so that's a possible issue for light sleepers.

“So, So, for one night.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 November 2011

Spent 2 nights here, but should have left after one.

An older Laquinta motel, that hasn't been upgraded at all!

The room we stayed in was clean and reasonably comfortable, but there was NO Refrigerator and NO Microwave in the room.

The Bright Side Breakfast was minimal and not the best. CRAMPED eating area and they ran out of bread on our second day.

The price is somewhat reasonable, but since we use LaQuinta in almost all our travels, this one is below PAR.

We will probably not stay at this Laquinta in the future.

“Good Value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

The rooms were very clean and nice. You have two full bed, TV, dresser, closet and a desk for your computer or anything else. The nightstand was a bit lower than the bed. I thought the bathroom was pretty small. The toilet was right next to the bathtub and then the door. I felt a bit claustrophobic. the sink area was pretty decent in size.

I didn't have that much contact with the staff but the ones I came in contact with were friendly. The breakfast area was nice and since I got 20% off, it came out to be a good value.

One thing I didn't like about this hotel was that since all doors are outside, it can get very loud. Breakfast started at 6, people were passing by having conversations on their way to breakfast. Unfortunately our room was on the path to breakfast and I could hear every word they said. They path was pretty small so people were pretty much passing right in front of our door. We checked in on Friday night and I was woken up by people going back to their rooms at 1:00 AM. You can hear trunks slamming, luggage wheels rolling and people having conversations. The first night i woke up several times during the middle of the night. It didn't help I had my dogs and they were sensitive to noise. I'm not sure if everyone already checked in but there was less noise on Saturday night.

Overall it's a good value but there is the noise factor which can't be avoided for these types of hotels where the door leads directly outside.

“Amazing!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2011

I was in Tyler this weekend for the Tyler Rose Marathon and this hotel had extremely friendly employees, clean rooms and wonderful service. They even allowed me to check out at 1:30--a full 2.5 hours past their regular checkout time due to me running in the marathon!
