“horrible experience”

We stayed at the Ramada Inn in Tyler Texas while my brother was in ICU at the hospital. The rooms were outdated and very old! When we checked out we were overcharged!!! We were charged one rate for one room and another rate for the other room, with all kinds of additional fees. It was very horrible experience for us! I will never ever stay there again and I do not recomend anyhone to this hotel!

Room Tip: check your bill!!!

In December/January we updated our rooms with new bedding and linen. Each room was painted with an accent wall. We have added several new suites that our guest have come to love. We pride ourselves on the accuracy of our billing and only charge what the guest incur with no additional fees. If an error in the rate is found it is corrected to reflect the correct rate.

“DO NOT STAY HERE-ITS FILTHY”

I went to Tyler with two of my colleagues. Me and another friend stayed at this Ramada. I have no words to express how disasterous this stay was. nothing was right, rude staff, even worse manager lady, filthy rooms, dirty pools, unhygenic restaurant. I tried complaining but it fell on deaf ears. My advice to everyone going to Tyler "please stay away from Ramada inn"

“Best in Tyler”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 April 2010

My husband and I live in Tyler but we needed a get a way for the weekend and we stayed at here and as soon as we checked in the girls at the desk were awsome they checked us in fast and we were off the the room. The room was very spacey and it felt like home but with out the kids. We went to eat dinner at the hotel's resturant and to our suprise it was Indian food and it was the best. the weather was great to enjoy the meal and the great outdoors. That morning i got to enjoy breakfast out on the patio by the pool most soothing time of my life. Check out was great the front desk was very good and kind.

We called in advance talked to a very nice young lady Named Jenifer and told her our situation, she gave us a special to get our business and told us to talk to samantha, we got there a little later than planned and samantha was leaving, however she stopped went back to the desk when she heard who we were and advised new desk person of discount, he was very nice. I asked for wakeup call and it was achieved to perfection, all in all wonderfull evening and morning.

“Wedding was a disaster!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2010

We had my granddaughters wedding reception in this place. Food horrible and presented poorly. No forks for the wedding cake, tables left dirty all night, not able to aquire more punch that ran out in the first few minutes, vegetable tray dressing not refilled without us asking. All in all the food table looked like a cheap out door party and cost me plenty for nothing.
I hired two bartenders and only had one available. The music system did not work and that ruined the dance, which was to be a big part of the evening.
The staff was not helpful at all and clueless of being good hosts.

The bridal party showed up half an hour or later after their guests did. When the guest arrived they headed right for the food and punch before the bridal party arrived. They let the children run around with no supervision so it created a mess. We did provide forks for the cake. The guest were completely drunk throwing up in the ballroom and even tried to burn the place down. Luckily we had caught it and were able to put the fire out before it got out of control. I told them to make sure to order enough punch because once it was gone there was no replacing it. They did not want to pay for anymore. I also told them that the food that was ordered would not be enough, but they did not want to order more. We did provide 2 bartenders. Our sound system works fine. The laptop they were trying to use did not work properly. We used the sound system the following day for a meeting, it worked perfectly. She was upset with us because she wanted the ballroom for free which is something we do not do. She was very difficult to work with and she was only there for maybe half an hour. She did not even stay to see them toast. I apologize for the bad time she may have experienced while she was there. We did everything that she asked and she still remained unhappy.
