The Woodlands Waterway Marriot Hotel and Convention Center has a perfect location, directly on the Waterway, as the name suggests. The hotel is always fresh and updated, and the Management and Staff work to make every guest enjoy their stay. The lounge has a great breakfast and the large spa is a benefit for a traditional business hotel. The shoe sign service is one of the best that I have enjoyed in the USA. I highly recomend this property.

My wife and I stayed here one night in November in order to attend a wedding at the Woodlands Country Club (a short drive away).

The location is next to the mall, so I could see some traffic issues at times, but we had none.

The front desk staff was friendly and efficient, check in and out was a breeze.

Only being there one night, we got a chance to take a short walk out the back along the riverfront. Of course there's the taxi, and some small restaurants, condos, etc. as well as some construction still going.

We visited the bar after the wedding, Robert took great care of us. There was a nice area outside with tables and a hearth, a nice place to congregate outside with your party. The bar closed at 11, and we stumbled a couple hundred feet over to a bar next door, and then stumbled back to our room when they closed.

The room was great, clean, had a fairly good sized bathroom, and the self parking was convenient in the garage adjacent to the hotel (we didn't valet, and I'm not sure how much the parking was). Our room had an ihome in it to hook up your ipod or smartphone (if you subscribe to a music channel, or have music stored on your phone).

There was a small charge for internet, but that's expected in a place like this.

We will definitely return to this hotel if we are ever needing a room in the area.

the service was great. The ambiance was stark empty, not at all like the picture which was only a small part of the restaurant. The salads came dry we had to ask for dressings and wait for them. The bread was cold and day old, french bread. In a restaurant like this one was portrayed I expected fresh warm rolls. The salmon with pesto sauce was also dry, we had to ask for the sauce and wait for it, by that time the fish was cold. Mine was also over cooked I had to send it back. Italian dressing was brought for a ceasar salad. Over all after we finally received everything we ordered the food was average, nothing special but acceptable. We wont go back and dont recommend it.

I stayed for 7 days at the Marriott Woodlands Waterway Hotel for business conference. Everything is great and so I'm too lazy to point out the plus points and want to just point out the minuses and tips. I sent my jacket (no dryclean instruction) with note saying no to dryclean to the laundry. To my surprise my jacket is ruined. I complained and after some checkings, apparently somebody ignored the laundry instruction, crossed out my note, and write dry clean instead. Found out that laundry was outsourced. At the end, I got my claim.

In short, will I return to this hotel? absolutely. Will I use the laundry service again? never.
