I needed to hold several small meetings 1-2 people for about 4 hours and the LaQuinta allowed me to use their breakfast room for as long as i needed without any charge...lots of restaurants nearby and good access to the industrial plants and Gulf Coast attractions...only about 15 minutes to Kemah and all of their attractions and restaurants.

Do not recommend it at all. It was dirty,small and very old.Had to change rooms. No fridge or microwave in one.In the next room the bathtub faucet would not turn off.Front desk took about half hour before got them on the line.Never again!!!

The pictures looked nice for the rate. The rooms are updated, but the building wasn't so great. We didn't get much sleep, because it was loud the entire night. The beds are too small and didn't seem like they were queen size and the parking was awful. Bad choice in my part. Also, it was a inconvenience to Galveston. I thought this hotel was worth the extra drive to Galveston, instead of paying a hotel off the seawall. WRONG! So, if your planning on making a trip to Galveston. I would recommend staying at the La Quinta on the island.

wife and I enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to my friends and family.
