The rooms are small, but for 40 bucks... can you really complain that much? Getting there is a little difficult right now due to construction being a little crazy. The rooms were clean but there wasn't a fridge or micro, major downside. It seems to be hit or miss on this fridge/micro thing at motel 6's. My room was remodeled, no nasty carpet. I would have given them another star but as pet friendly as they are (no fee!), there is very little space for the dog to use the restroom. Plus, I slept like a brick.

Look the newly renovated room was small but look at the price. What do you expect? Very Very Very clean!!!! Cute furnishings!! I needed a place to sleep and shower. It was a little more than I expected. The room looked much better on the inside than the outside. Hotel is still doing construction and renovations but that is good!! Parking was at a minimum however I would stay again if traveling through.

You dont want your feet to come in contact with the carpeting. Everything is worn, broken, rusted or noisy. Ashtray in non smoking room. Linens are coarse and small. Bed sheet had cigarette burn. Toilet is inches from the ground and splashes when flushed. Staff is pleasant. Slight benefit is $3 for 24 hours of Internet access. However the connection is quite slow and may not work in all rooms.

...until AFTER the remodel. They are in the middle of a major rehab project as of the end of January 2009 that will last 3 to 6 months according to the sign at the front desk. And it's not a moment too soon. More than likely they were told that either they spend some money on the place or it would be shut down.

I was in room 236. You had to put your key in and turn the handle UP, then FORCE open the door to get in because it was scraping hard on the bottom of the frame. The carpet was the worst I have ever seen. The toilet wasn't bolted down-you move or shift your weight and it moved side to side with you. The shower head was leaking at the threads it was screwed onto. The heater unit thermostat was broken, so if you had the heat on, it would heat until it became too hot, then the A/C compressor would try to kick in, and it was the loudest I have ever heard in my life. Not even close to a good nights' sleep. At 5am, after being awakened by other things, there was a dog barking outside in the parking lot. I called the front desk and they took care of it for me. Best to stay as far away from this hotel as you can until AFTER maybe July 2010 when the remodel is done.
