Overall we had a good experience here, as we usually do at Hampton Inns. The breakfast spread was very nice, everything was clean and fresh, the beds were comfortable, etc.
However, I have to say that we had some odd experiences with our room. The door was extremely difficult to open from the outside. When we asked, we were told that many of the doors have this problem and that they are in the process of replacing them. We weren't offered a different room, even the hotel seemed very empty (backed up by the low price for the room) and we have been HHonors members for many years, and we were worried about breaking the door every time we entered, having to force it so hard.
Additionally, for some reason we were given a handicap-accesible room, which we didn't really like.
In any case, the hotel itself was fine, but the room was odd, and we were disappointed not to be moved to a more suitable one.
