Called ahead for reservations using my points. No problem and easy check-in. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was easy to get in and had truck parking. Friendly and helpful staff.
Easy off highway stop just outside of Abilene. Breakfast available but didn't try.
I booked a room at this hotel thru Priceline and requested a two queen bed room. Upon arrival the desk clerk said they only had a king room available. I was traveling with my wife and two grandchildren, ages 7 and 10. I then asked if a rollaway bed was available and the clerk said yes but it would cost an additional 20 dollars. I argued that this was unfair since they did not have the room type we originally requested. The clerk said I could take it up with the manager the next morning. When I went to the front desk the next morning, there was no one at the front desk. This was at 10:30 in the morning! A sign at the desk said "will be back in a few minutes". When the clerk did come back to the desk, she said there no manager available for me to speak with. I expressed my disgust and left. How this hotel won a diamond award is beyond me. I will never stay at this hotel again!

I went here to inquire on getting a room for a night, as we got really tired traveling from Dallas to Phoenix. Jimmy at the front desk did not want to serve the people before me and he did not want to serve me. He was very curt and unmotivated to help. He claimed he could not find my rewards number and I asked him to call, as I wanted that stay to count towards a travel card. I asked him to call, and he said that if he couldn't find it, corporate could not either. He was very loud with my information, including first middle and last name, as well as address and phone number. This made me uneasy as the lobby was packed with guests. Corporate found it and then the rate went up from what he initially told me. I asked to use the restroom, as I had to go badly and he said "Woman, you can use it when you pay!" I was worried, as there was only one room left for the night, and I had to use the restoom soo bad. I asked for the manager's contact information, and my rewards number because I was going to try a little further down for a hotel. He refused to let me use his pen to write it down on the back of the manager's business card. He became confrontational, saying that he don't know what my problem is. I said he would find out when I talked to his manager. This angered him, and he threw the pen down and said that Best Western does not want customers like me and to never stay at one again. He refused to provide me with my rewards number and told me to leave. I was flabbergasted and said "Excuse me?" That's when he shouted two bad words to me. I turned around, in utter shock and re-entered the doors, and asked him to apologize. That's when he spouted another bad word at me.
I ran for my life, straight into the arms of another nearby hotel who treated me great! I called their Guest Relations, and their General Manager promised a follow up, but she followed up with only my rewards number, and still no apology. I don't like their rewards program enough to be verbally attacked. I travel 1/3 of the year, so its their loss.
