For the location and the first floor for the hotel, this is a nice hotel. Past that, and this hotel is not that great. The rooms are not nicely furnished and the sheets on my bed were literally torn. This is the first Marriott I have been to where there is a fee to access the internet. The breakfast is extremely overpriced, but there are a few places in the area open for a better, cheaper breakfast. If you can get a good, cheap rate and just need a crash pad, then go for it due to the location. If you want anything else, stay away.

To make up for the $12-$13/night the Marriott charges you for access to wifi in your rooms, they make up for it in the fact they provide a shuttle for guests to travel within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. That includes drop off and pick ups within that 3 mile radius. Yes, that means you can go to Whole Foods, H-E-B, Wal Mart, Marshalls, and whatever else you can find within that close proximity. That's pretty awesome; just make sure to tip your driver.

Rooms were clean, the maids were friendly, and the gym is one of the best ones I've experienced in a hotel. All the weight lifting equipment & machines were new and there were even headphones available for free when exercising on the treadmill. Since getting to the pool requires going through the gym, you can simply grab one of the provided towels and enjoy some Texas sunshine.

Another nice perk was the fruit water, sweet tea, and apples which are provided complimentary around the clock in the lobby area. With a convenient location on City Walk and a short walk to the City Colony Mall & AMC movie theatres, it's no wonder people enjoy staying here when they come to Sugarland.

This is my second stay with Marriott Sugar Land Texas and the standard of the place has been well maintained. There are a few good independent restaurants in a sea of boring chain places.

This is a very well-kept hotel in a great location. It is in a town square with lots of shops and restaurants. We booked through priceline and got a very good deal on the room. It is a very comfortable stay for a reasonable price
