Stayed here due to business. The housekeeping staff obviously take no pride whatsoever in their work. The stairwells stink. The front desk staff was great, but hotel itself needs some attention. Will never stay here again.

For an extended stay due to medical reasons using the Texas Medical Center, this is the place to stay. It may be a little farther away in mileage, but time wise & ease to get there using Alt. 90 is worth the extra distance. Also, after a long day with tests/doctor visits, etc., it is so much easier & quicker to get around in the Sugar Land Area. We also felt more secure in this area, and the staff at this particular Extended Stay Deluxe was so accomodating, nice and always willing to make you feel at home.

Here we are again, another hotel. Extended Stay Deluxe they have two ratings online, and this hotel was our last choice being that we had a pet. That's the only reason why we came here. We have a studio, room is quite large. Grease all over the front of microwave, otherwise fairly clean. They have the type of print in their sofas that won't let you see dirt. Mattress is old and out dated, headboard on wall, no pillowtop mattress, comforter (old-fashioned bedspread) towels are paper thin. You have to ask for clean towels otherwise they request you re-use them. Housekeeping comes at 9:00 a.m. (too early). They supply all dishes, silverware, no dishwasher. The hotel is dying of a upgrade and new management. Oh!!! They tried to sale us a studio suite for $135.00 + 25.00 pet fee. Online the rate was $89.99. Hotels.com had to call in our reservation because the front desk claimed they didn't receive a reservation message.

The Sugarland Hearthside has an economical price tag because you are getting the basics. There are no frills and provides you with a "roof over your head". I was not pleased with the team they had behind the counter. I booked my rooms online and they were very disorganized in expediting us to our rooms. The following morning we were harrassed by the clerk saying the rooms had not been paid. I showed him the online bill where my credit card was charged, and he gave it back to me without a "Thanks for staying!" comment. They were young and immature "kids" working behind the counter, and I will never stay at this Hearthside ever again.
