Check in was prompt, room was spacious with a great bed, ceiling fan, small kitchen area and the wireless internet worked perfect. Didn't hear any outside or hallway noise during the night and slept great. You won't be dissapointed.

I work in Stafford and always return back to this hotel week after week. The hotel is about 1 year old but all the rooms look brand new and are very nicely decorated. The service here is great. Staff are all friendly and make the stay enjoyable. The rooms are consistenly squeaky clean and the bed is very comfortable. The place truly feels like a "home away from home" and the free breakfast and light dinner adds the finishing touches. This place is a great value and highly recommended if you're staying around the sugar land/stafford area.

While the hotel is only about a year old and stylish, especially for a Homewood, service was so poor, it made for an unpleasant stay.

The room itself was clean and lovely. The shower curtain appeared to be cut off and dripped a ton of water on the floor but everything else was very nice.

The problems that we experienced were relatively minor but they added up.
We were initially assigned to a room without an air conditioning unit (out for routine maintenance). Though we were diamond members and asked for our complimentary water, we were denied. Our room was not cleaned during our two night stay. When I complained, they dropped off supplies since the housekeeping stay wanted to go home (at 1:30pm). There were a few other annoyances which all added up to me feeling like I did not enjoy my stay. I would not stay here again.

I stayed here in Sep 2006. The people and staff were extremely courteous, the rooms were cleaner than most hotels I stay at and overall the property was well kept. I stayed in a king suite which was perfect. The kitchen appliances all worked well, the room was clean and quiet, the bed was extremely comfortable. The free happy hour was a welcome treat and the breakfast, although not the best, was above average when compared to other free hotel breakfasts'. There was a large group that stayed and the hotel was booked to capacity when I was there and they under estimated the amount of beer needed during happy hour. When they started running short, instead of just saying 'oh well' as I have seen at other hotels, the hotel manager went out and bought a couple cases of beer to keep the guests happy during happy hour.
I would highly recommend this hotel when in the area. I enjoy staying at Homewood Suites in general when I travel, and this one is one of the better ones.
