Pros: Clean room, very affordable, short walk to the Gulf beach.

Cons: Pillows are flat. So, if you share a bed, BYOP; Internet access questionable.

The Beachside Inn was selected for its favorable internet room rate for three nights and proximity to the beach. We found the property clean, if a bit well-used. The AC worked well and parking is handy.

The location is quiet, and only a short 1.5 block walk to the nearest public beach access point. The manager said he upgraded our internet-basic room to one with a refrigerator, microwave, and small kitchen with a coffee maker, along with a small sitting area.

We found management and housekeeping to be cheerful and responsive. We didn't try the hotel breakfast. If budget and location are the traveler's selection principles, Beachside would be a sensible choice. The hotel fits fairly in its 2-star category, so it delivers what it promises, a clean and apparently safe place to stay in a convenient location, without frills.

I came with my gf, and the carpets were dirty, i got a splinter from them the sink has green around it cracks down the walls, and the halls smell strongly of onions and garlic, for the price we paid we should have gone to the hilton, but the ac is cold thats a good plus and the goofy almost porno like lighting above the bed a plus to

We stayed in room 213 on June 17, 18 2009 and we thought the hotel was run down and needs remodeling. Carpet not clean and worn, one wall on our room had 3 long cracks that had not been repaired. Staff not friendly but coffee and doughs were good but had to go to office for ice. I will not stay there next time.
