Hello: My husband I spent 3 nights in Moonraker BnB in Sout Padre Texas to celebrate our 40th wedding ann. and Valentine's Day. We made our reservations after viewing the Moonraker website for a "honeymoon suite" with Champagne breakfast, hottub. We arrived early evening. The room was very dirty. The sheets, towels, bed linens were soiled with unknown stains. In the night we had a bathroom leak with water all over the floor. The owner called a plumber. The hottub was not turned on; we asked the owner to turn it on. The hot tub was dirty with water covered in skin flakes and slimy sides on getting in. He explained that it hadn't been used in six weeks. There were cockroaches in the bathroom on the seond night. We didn't have the heart to keep complaining to the elderly owner of the Moonraker who was alone. His wife was convalescing from an illness. The old plastic flowers and curtains were covered in gray dust in our room causing my husband to sneeze and cough. If the owner had not been so nice we would have left. The Moonraker home needs to be cleaned; the kitchen where breakfast is made is unsanitary with dirty rags on the counters, cleaning agents on the same table as the toaster and coffee maker. There was no champagne served as stated on the website. The one other couple staying at the Moonraker was as disappointed as ourselves. Sincerely, T.M.
