Price is right and clean rooms...good view of the water form third floor rooms that i stayed...

I opted to take a couple of days awayfrom work and escape to South Padre Island after a close friend of mine passed away. Wind Water Hotel & Resort was the ideal place to relax and be pampered. The staff were friendly and attentive. They hotel offers a complimentary breakfast and the rooms are very clean. They have rooms with a water view where you can fish off the dock or simply sip a cold beverage as youn watch the sun set! It's a gereat place and well worth every cent!

Yes, this place is a dump, but it's within walking distance to the beach and I only paid $30 a night. Seriously, what do you expect for $30 a night? I needed a place to crash near the beach for a couple days, and this place was just the ticket. I'd probably stay there again if I'm in town.

Words can't explain how bad this place was. Everything from top to bottom was crappy. The room floors were all tile and was unbearable to walk on. I kept my shoes on the entire time there. The walls are paper thin and woke up to various adult noises. Once Saturday night rolled around, we realized that the hotel was booked to capacity! Someone brought a bbq pit and was bbq'ing in the parking LOT! The pool was full. Tile flooring is everywhere, so it's slippery all over the place! Cracked tiles, broken AC units, broken mini fridge, broken iron, even the locks were broken. I regret taking my family there.
