I stayed at this motel for a few months, so I got to meet everyone there, including the owner.
I will state a few things I liked and some things I disliked about this one...
The price is best in town and area, plus if you happen to meet the owner ( Josef- an India man) and tell him you will pay lower, most likely he will drop price. He only does this because he needs the business.
Some of the people working behind the desk are nice people and will do for you what they can, but Josef doesn't allow them to do much. Some just won't do anything, lazy.
That's about all I can put on the liked side. Now some "other" things about the Regency Inn...
The pool is often dirty, not heated and is only open between 5pm - 9pm. No throwing, diving, jumping, running, loud noise tollerated, at all.
If you stay for a while you will notice they "might" clean your room once a week, otherwise you will have to ask. You can only ask the maids, because the front counter will only tell you they will tell the maids tomorrow, most likely they won't.
BESURE you READ your RECEIPT very carefully! I can not stress enough on that. I have seen them mess up numerous receipts.
They have a computer, your allowed only 15 mins. Hope that it is running right.
There is only Denny's and Waffle House, great selection!!!, and also McD's, taco bell, whataburger.
The "suite" in the back is a complete joke, the suite in the front is decent for the price (nice couch!)
... plus other small things...
My conclusion on this one Regency Inn: For the price, your not picky and if you ony need the motel for sleep, it's worth a night or maybe a week for the price. The other motels close by are way more expensive, some more then triple. So this one motel pretty much sucks if you plan to be here a little while and want to use the pool. BUT REMEMBER if you get Josef to break PRICE
