well i see so much negativity against this hotel. I would like to start off with when hurricane Ike came thru we were staying at our house with my family. Our house had no light,food, and on top of that we lived an hour away. Our house got flooded and damaged our home non the less i had a 4month old daughter. This people helped us out, the manager as well was staying in the hotel. There were police men and energy companies staying there too. We were safe and the manager knew half of the families had no money. They were so kind they provided everyone breakfast and dinner! i am very appreciative at front desk employee she had a son about my daughter's age i had no diapers she heard me tell my husband and she asked me " what size is your daughter" so i told her and she had a extra pack in her room. She was very humble and gave me he pack of diapers. All i have to say is there's more to them. Thank you and god bless.

Cockroaches in room, we killed then but they were not even cleared up.
Towels were not clean, bought our own from Walmart.
The room was not clean to start with, bathroom floor sticky, room not cleaned every day.
Cost £560 for 9 nights and manager told me I should not have expected better for this price! Presumably cleaning is extra!!
Breakfast was foul, oversweet pastry with lukewarm coffee and juice.
No blankets and torn sheets.
Carpet dirty and sticky.

On August 16,2008 I got married and we chose the Regency Inn and Suites Banquet Hall for the dinner and dance. When I looked at the hall to book it, it was in very good condition, recently cleaned. However, when we all showed up for the decorating, the floor had not been cleaned and there was no paper towels in either restroom and the manager was told and he said ok, you can use Kleenex to dry your hands. As far as the floor being dirty, he just looked at me and said "ok" and that was it. He was rude to me and my friends and i wil NEVER recommend that place to anyone. The only good thing was the price. And speaking of that, I paid extra deposit for security since we served alcohol and we were supposed to have a policeman there. No police was there, but the manager said I will be getting all my deposit back. In 3 business days.

I reserved 3 rooms at this Inn. When I made the reservations I told them I wanted all the rooms together and on ground floor. I told them that 2 couples would be traveling together so we needed the rooms together because of the luggage. They promised me I would have them together. Well when we arrived at the motel that wasn't what we got. Each room was on different sides of the buildings. They told us they were booked full and couldn't do anything about it. We had arrived late, around 8pm due to traffic tie-ups. We were exepected at a family function at 6pm so we went ahead and checked in and went to the function without even going to the rooms. I was upset that they didn't put our rooms together but due to the lateness I didn't have time to argue the fact with them. When the evening events were done we all returned to the motel around midnight. That was the first time we seen our rooms. Oh my God! As soon as I turned on the lights a million roaches scattered. They were all over the floor, among all the crumbs of something, and all over the beds and curtains. I couldn't even pick up the phone to call the manager to come and see them because they were all over the phone too. There were no towels, shampoo or soap nor any toilet paper. My sisters room was just as bad with leftover food in the refrig. and my brothers room had dried vomit on the lamp shade and the picture frame above the lamp. It had dried urine on the toilet, pubic hair on the tub and floor. And yes it was also infested with roaches. We all refused to stay there and went to the office to complain and demand a refund. They refused to refund our money because it was after midnight. I told them that if we would of had time to see our rooms when we checked in that we would have checked out immediately. They still refused to refund our money for that night. I immediately called my credit card company and reported them. So did my sister. Our card company is not going to honor the charge. My brother on the other hand paid cash so he was "stuck like chuck"! They moved them to another room that wasn't as bad as the one they had,minus the vomit, but it was still invested with roaches. Oh by the way, the reason they "all of a sudden " had empty rooms was because people had checked out as soon as they seen their rooms. I reported this Inn to the health dept. before we left Texas. We ended up at the Holiday Inn in Sugarland. It was great! Clean no roaches. I wouldn't recommend the Rengency Inn to my worst enemy! I don't know where they got the pictures they show on their web site because it sure doesn't even come close to what we seen there. We will never forget this motel and we will be sure to tell everyone not to go there, unless you like to sleep with roaches!
