I'm a professional review critic, I get paid to objectively assess hotels, restaurants, rental cars and airlines. I spend an average of 200 nights each year in hotels.
This motel has lots of glowing reviews, most tell you how great service is. Mr. B's good with customer service. The rest if the motel need lots of help.
Plastic covers on mattress and bs need removed.
Place need up keep both out and in
Room. They smell not only musty but musty covered with sweet spray.
Sheets are paper thin
Bedspreads are beyond not good.
Roaches in bathand kitchen. Mr. B calls them water bugs, no they are roaches.
Towels thin and worn.
Mr. B was hospitial with these issues. But hospital does not provide comfort, clean, and a good nights sleep.
I have no idea why anyone would

First off, let me appologize AGAIN, for the waterbug you said was in your room. You were discounted 50% of the price for this inconvenience. Before checking in, you were shown this room. It was then, YOU decided to stay. While checking out the next morning, you stated that you wanted a full refund , WITHOUT any viable proof , such as a picture, of your complaints. When I refused to refund your stay in it's entirety,you poceeded to write a BAD review. I believe you were just looking for a Free room. Nothing in this life is free.
When cleaning your room, I found no evidence of waterbugs or filth. What I did find was my towels in the garbage, because YOU cleaned up after your dog with them. Those towels are now RUINED. I have a picture of this if you are so inclined to see it. I also checked your professioinal review history and found that you have only written TWO. Both of which were very negative.
Being a SELF PROCLAIMED Hotel critic, DOES NOT entitle you to slander my hotel.
When visiting Rockport in the future...Please take your business elswhere. Thankyou for you for your recent stay at the Sportsman Manor Motel..
