Great place to stay. Great location, clean, comfortable rooms. Reasonable rates. Our only place to stay in Rockport.

We just got back from here, took a short weekend trip for some R & R. This was our first time staying here and we were pleasantly surprised. The front desk guy was friendly. He gave me the code to the Wi-Fi without me having to ask which I appreciated. They also have a free breakfast every morning. They offered Waffles, Cereal, Donuts, Coffee, Apple Juice and Orange Juice.
Overall, we were pleased and we would stay here again:

Cons:
Lobby was hot every time we went in there.
They put some sort of cheap overpowering stuff in the room to make it smell good. We had to open the windows when we first got to our room to get the smell out. At least it wasn't the smell of cigarette smoke.

we have been staying here for around 5 years now. This is our fishing getaway spot. the pricing is awesome. Great place to stay to fish with the pier across the street. Pool for the grandkids, fishing for grandpa and me. Internet for the computer junkies. I recommend to everyone. I like the clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly family atomsphere.

Our family stayed for Labor Day. The hotel was completely booked yet the service was great for this modestly priced hotel. The owner installed addtional sound proofing during renovations and it paid off. Our room was adjacent to the BBQ and recreational area. We barely heard the neighboors and groups outside. I am a frequent business traveler with good grounds for comparison. The soundproofing is excellent. The fishing pier has cool green fishing lights for extra effect--a departure from the standard pier lighting. Excellent waffles for breakfast by Mr. B made for a better than expected continental breakfast.
