We stayed 3 nights starting Oct.24 2011 and we had a great time ! Loved the nice ,quiet,clean,and very comfortable rooms and the price is low for what you are getting ! We sat out front on the bench outside our room, watched the beautiful sunrises and dolphins passing by on the bay while we sipped our morning coffee that is provided.We also fished on their new lighted pier and it was wonderful as they have 2 benches at each lighted area so you don't even have to take any chairs ! We caught some Specks and some Croakers and others were catching Reds.I can't say enough about this place,we travel all the time and have stayed at some nice places ,but this one has it all including a heated pool that we will be using in the months ahead.We can't wait to go back and are planning to go and stay several weeks a year as the rates are low for all the amenities you get.The owner and his family are very nice , hospitable and go above and beyond to make sure their guests enjoy their stay. We spent 4 days here and absolutely fell in love with it! The location is awesome, very quiet, great pier & can usually catch the dolphins in the morning or at night! Management is so amazing, felt like family in the few days we were there! Hope to be back in the very near future!!!

As usual, a Fabulous time had by all. We were not disappointed!!

The Owners of this location try their best to accomodate everyone's needs. They are friendly and always remember you from previous visits. I find it difficult to read reviews that are harsh or very negative because we just don't have that experience when we come to Surf Side Inns & Suites.

The best advice I can give you is to understand that this is a motel that is right off the water and used by many fisherman as well as families with children It isn't meant to be an upscale motel. It is a "family" friendly environment. There is no need to look anywhere else to stay. Priced right, close to shopping and a nice place to stay!!

We love this location and have been going here for over 35 years. More recently the rooms have been remodeled and the fishing pier has been replaced. The manager/owner is a great friendly person who is willing to make sure your stay is comfortable. I highly recommend this as the place to stay in Rockport if you want to fish, rest or simply enjoy family time. Oh forgot to mention the pool is large and always clean. Enjoy your stay .
