If you plan to do work from the hotel this isn't the place to stay, the high speed internet access is slow at all times of the day, the front desk reported that its pretty normal to have issues. The heater is right next to the desk so its either hot with air blowing in your face or cold, and the TV is recessed behind a cabinet so the dresser its mounted on needs to be pulled out for any viewing.

If your just looking for a place to sleep it could be a decent enough place.

After staying in many Hampton Inns, I come to expect consistency. In this case, I found a Hampton Inn that was not quite up to par compared to the other Hamptons.
1. Even though the room was a non-smoking room, there was a distinct smoke odor coming through the venting in the bathroom.
2. The room was smaller than the normal room, with a very small bathroom.
3. Carpeting looked like it had been installed for a while.
4. while the internet was "free" it was extremely slow... slow enough that I ended up using my phone/modem which is normally slower than any hotel, but in this case, it was faster.
5. The breakfast was up to par with other Hamptons, including a waffle maker.

Hotel was okay and in a quiet location. Breakfast left much to be desired. Typical Hampton inn.

I will stay in a Hilton brand any opportunity I get, mainly because I do like the beds. But on this one, as another reviewer indicated, the beds did sort of not live up to the newer beds in some properties. It was OK, but not nearly as "plush and comfy" as the dream mattress or whatever some places call it...I guess not all properties have the nicer beds.

Beyond that, the room was HOT. The AC didn't pump out too much cold air and with a day of 100 F temps, it never really cooled down.

Didn't use the pool (looked nice though outside my window) breakfast was typical Hampton, no complaints, and actually the OJ was really cold, so that made up for the hot room! Ha Ha...

There is a restaurant across the street, Humperdinks which was OK for a few homebrewed beers and dinner. Internet worked OK, but was a bit slow at times, but sped up later in the evening.

Overall, just an average Hampton property in my opinion, just OK.
