“Absolutely Wonderful Hotel, and friendly employees!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2010

Our rooms were ready when we got there. The front desk person was as friendly as could be. Everywhere we looked, the hotel was clean, has a good laundry room for do it yourself washing clothes. We went and sat in the lobby and they were kind enough to let us get drinks from the breakfast bar. Our room was so comfortable. I loved the bed and had the best nights sleep away from home. I would totaly recommed this hotel.

“Hampton Inn standard issue (a good thing)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 September 2010

A newer Hampton Inn, with premium bedding, room furnishings, and in this case hallway and lobby. Swimming pool was larger than usual. Friendly staff.

Hotel is between a couple of other lower grade properties in an area of new suburban development, and footsteps away from a local Mexican restaurant (did not try it).

“Great Hotel and Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 April 2010

I have stayed at many Hampton mostly on business. I've been expecting that just statistically I will stay at Hampton at some point that does not meet expectations, but so far this has not happened. The Port Arthur Hampton had a particularly helpful staff that really went out of their way to be courteous and accommodating. This was a particularly difficult weekend with a death in the family and the Hampton experience really helped! I wish all of the Hilton family hotels knew how to deal with their clients like Hampton.

Breakfast was excellent with a number of different choices. No, this is not a high end hotel with the kinds of breakfast you would expect to find there, but for the money it was a great value.

One warning is that this is one of a number of hotels along the Beaumont/Port Arthur corridor that is on the freeway and as such there is quite a bit of traffic noise. You might want to consider asking for a room on the side not facing the freeway.

The couch with the fold-out bed was not all that comfortable for my two sons sleeping there, but then what fold-out bed it all that great?

“Nice Hotel- A bit noisy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 March 2010

Stayed here for one night. We were on the 3rd floor - at the back of the hotel right next to Hwy 69. Although the room was very nice and exceptionally clean, the noise from the highway was terrible. It sounded like the big rigs were going to come through the room!
The hotel was full - so we could not move to another room. However, the front desk staff were very friendly - the breakfast was good . If I stayed here again, I would certainly ask for a different location of my room. The rooms at the other end of the hall were probably much quieter.

“Veryyy! Nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 June 2009

My husband and I stayed 1 night and were very pleased with the front desk they got us in and up to our room in no time at all. The room was very nice but the bedspreads were a little worn and the carpet could definitely need cleaning. The bathroom was spotless and it had plenty of room. We were on the second floor room 225. Our grandchildren ages 7, 6, and 2 1/2 came to visit for a couple of hours and they enjoyed the pool. It was very well maintained and right inside the door were plenty of towels. We enjoyed the breakfast the next morning there was plenty to choose from. My husband especially enjoyed the coffee. We would reccommend this Hampton to others and will probably stay again ourselves.
