We stayed in Room 143. It was very clean and nicely furnished. This is a condiminium property, therefore, each unit is owned and rented out through the management. Thus, each room is differently decorated and furnished. I know ours was more 'modern and clean' than some of the other rooms. So keep this in mind when you book. Also, the office closes at 5pm, so if you will be arriving later, you need to let them know. They didn't inform us of this. Luckily, they called us as we were heading there around 4:30pm and we just made it to check in. DRAWBACKS: The beds were NOT comfortable. The mattresses were really worn out/lopsided, thin. No maid service, no pool towels. They need to put more hangers in the closet-we had 3 and 2 people. Not enough. Also, no hairdryer or iron in the room was also annoying. I'd recommend they add these amenities too if they are going to rent the condo units like a hotel. Location was easy walk to several of the good restaurants: Cafe Phoenix was delicious, fresh, healthy and the only thing close to 'gourmet' we could find. La Playa Mexico was good. The beach is a 1/2 mile walk down the road, or you have to pay $12/day for a parking pass. We didn't pay for one and had no problem. Pool area was very nice. Plenty of lounge chairs. Zero entry pool is nice if you have babies or small children. Pretty flowers around the pool. We paid $100/night and had a kitchen/balcony in our unit w/tub/shower. Thought it was a little overpriced considering some of the lack of amenities and uncomfortable beds.
