Due to a family emergency we called to cancel our reservation at Rock Cottages, 36+ hours in advance. The guy at the desk said if we were "good people" we would pay a cancellation fee. I told him I was happy to pay the fee and asked him what the policy was, because there is none on the website, etc. He said it was "up to me" to decide if I was a good person. The phone call ended with him saying I was "stupid and a bastard" and "not good people". I was dumbfounded. I would be happy to pay a fee, if I knew what the policy was. I am apalled at the audacity of someone treating a customer this way. I feel they should be reported and I WILL NEVER consider this place again. I should have listened to the reviews I've read here.
