WHERE TO START! First i want to say i should have read all the reviews and im terribly sorry i didnt! When i first called to make reservation the managers in the background were yelling in the background at the young girl on the phone with me because she forgot to inform me of the cancellation policy which is that they can charge your card for the room rate if you cancel at anytime! I had asked the Female mgr if she was going to run my card cause i wanted to pay in cash she said no she was just going to authorize it but i could pay in cash when i got there! When i arrived they sold my room cause my card declined at 1pm when i tried to ck in at 3pm it was gone! i was upset cause me and my kids had no where to stay on july 4th weekend! when i told her i would be writting this review and letting the bbb know she shrugged her shoulders like she didnt care! As i walked out the door she screamed at me telling me how it was my mistake and not hers! as i walked out her and her husband followed me to my car and kept yelling at me telling me i was a drug addict! the Female manager said and i quote " YOU HAVE TO HAVE A DI@% TO F@#K" Whatever that means??? anyways i left in tears cause i was all alone and they were very intimidating i thought for a second they were going to get phySical! I FEARED FOR MY SAFETY!!! PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!

I have been to the rock cottages 5 times in the past 2 years with family and/or friends. You have, bed/s, TV, kitchen and bath. Tile floors for tracking in sand, just a skip to the beach. You even have a place out back to clean your fish. Who's going to stay in the room anyway. I have never seen a roach in my room. The staff has always been very pleasant to me. If I need more towels I go get them taking the dirty ones back. If I want to put trash out at midnight I can. So if you want a cheaper place to stay and store your stuff waile you play this is the place for you. If you want the Hilton pay for the Hilton. Don't even get me going on the hotel across the street where you pay $200. a night to sleep on a sponge bob bunk because they gave your room to some one else.

Asked for one more towel, screamed at me no, then when I yelled back that we were paying customers, he said it looked like I was on drugs!!!OMG! !!! HE THEN CALLED POLICE, WHO THEN CAME OVER AND WAS NICE ENOUGH TO GET US ONE MORE FREAKING TOWEL!!NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS NOT ON DRUGS, BUT VERY UPSET! NEVER,NEVER, COMING BACK!!AND I RECOMMEND NO ONE ELSE DOES TOO! !!!!!!

We stayed here on the 16 - 19th of march of '10. We read the reviews and chanced staying there. The room was clean, ice box and stove both worked. We were only in the room for a few hours every night because we came to the beach to see The BEACH not stay in a room. Our room offered us a bed,,a shower and a place to cook our meals to take out to the beach during the day and that made us happy. We stayed 4 nights for 388.00 and we put the rest of our money back into our pocket for eating out,,and spending in the shops around town. We got out deposit right back after returning the tv remote. They do not offer room service during your stay and that was alright by us,,(noone ) in your room, you just take dirty laundry to them and they give you clean and fresh everyday. You must take out your own trash,,not a big deal since you can sleep late with no interuptions. We would stay again with just my wife and me but its not big enough for us and our two kids. Feel free to try it out, its just not a fancy motel,,but YOU came for the beach Correct?? Calvin from Breckenridge Texas.
