I like the building. I really like the pool. The grounds look great.Room 236? Not so much. The entry way walls are scuffed up pretty bad. Big waterstains in the twin bedroom. The master bathroom's shower head needs a little help and there's a 1/2 inch piece of pvc pipe hanging down that seems to serve no purpose.One of the towel racks is loose. The doorbell doesn't work.(The front desk wanted to fix the waterstains and doorbell while I was there. Just what I wanted on vacation... having people do repairs on a room I've already paid for.)The WiFi didn't work. The kitchen is very well stocked. The dishwasher is louder than a jet engine. The view from the deck is nice. I like Port A,but next time I might not be at La MIrage.

We came down for the holiday's - we visited the area a few years back. Great place for a family gathering or get a way. We stayed in unit 316. 2 bed & 2 bath unit had everything we needed for our family of 5, It was nicely decorated. The courtyard & pool area was wonderful - the kids really enojoyed the heated pool and playground area. We enojyed the sunsets and walks on the beach. Very nice relaxing family vacation at a reasonable price. The unit we stayed in had a nice courtyard view - and great views from the 3rd floor of bay area. We recommend booking on-line, we got a better rate that way. The courtyard view unit had one of the best rates we found. We will be back again. Enjoyed it very much

We stayed in room 300, that unit is AWESOME!! The view is great. King size bed, flat screen TV, and full size oven. The decor is beachy and classy. The furniture was super comfortable. We LOVED staying in this room. Hopefully this room will be avaliable next year if not we may try some where else. We like staying at the La Mirage, but I would like to stay closer to Port A. The price is good and the staff is great.

We had never vacationed on the Gulf Coast before so this trip was purely based on online reviews to help us choose accomodations. First let me say that if I went purely by the outside I would have turned around and walked out. The exterior needs alot of work but when we walked into the unit we were renting for Labor Day weekend my mind was changed. We stayed in Unit #127 with 3 beds and 2 baths. Although the decor was dated, the room was extremely clean and spacious. We were staying with another family and we both have young kids so we were not looking to stay in a top notch hotel that had amenities too fancy for young ones. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room had a nice view of the ocean. It is nicely situated not too far from the boardwalk out to the beach or the pool. The kitchen had all of the things we needed to cook a few meals and there were some games and videos that the kids enjoyed. Overall we felt that for the price (a nice discounted holiday rate) we were pleased!
