A family member reserved a room for us here as a gift. She wanted to use her AAA card but since she was not the one staying, they would not give her the AAA rate; however, the manager assured her what she paid was just as good if not better. I am not sure how this is true, considering she was charged $89 and that is what they advertise on their website as a standard rate; regardless, the room was nice. It is an older property but the bathroom had updated features and the bed was comfortable. (TV was small for a hotel.) However it is so close to the highway that we could not get a decent night's sleep due to the loud noise. Walls are also very thin and neighbors were up early in the morning. The woman who checked us in also was not very knowledgeable; we wanted to visit Southfork Ranch in the morning and she had very little information about that, and she did not know how late the lounge stayed open.

The hotel rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed; the staff went out of their way to work with us to make every event of our reunion work perfectly, the event rooms were GREAT, the kids (and grown-ups) LOVED the pool, the breakfast was wonderful, and the coordination with SOUTHFORK RANCH made everything perfect. This was a destination for our whole family, and everyone had a great time! Thanks for a memorable time!

Although this is an older property, it is nicely maintained and very comfortable. The rooms were large, clean, and had pretty flourishes, such as a beautifully dressed bed and towels folded as flowers.
The restaurant for breakfast was good, and all of the personell we dealt with were very accomodating. We went through Priceline to get our rate, and it was an excellant value for the the standard of hotel.

There was food on the floor in our room when we entered and there was dust hanging from the lights in the bathroom. The heat/air unit was so loud I couldn't sleep well. Our tour bus arrived at 6 pm on Saturday 2/26/2011 and the restaurant was closed to paying guests. I was told by the desk clerk there was another tour group other than ours, Village Tours. Our group alone had 47 people. Your desk clerk answer was that there was a miscommunication. Seems to me tour groups schedule these reservations way ahead so there should not have been a miscommunication. After all I heard about South Fork I was greatly disappointed. If I am ever here again I will take photos as proof.
