Stayed at the Homwood for a week on business and really all I can say is it's a Homewood. The room was nice and bright and spacious but a little "worn." Housekeeping didn't vacuum the room one time (is this something new?) I would stay again but there are definitely better options out there.

Although this Homewood is showing it's age a bit, It is fairly well maintained and clean as far as I have found. I stayed here for two months last summer (2010) and 3 weeks so far this year. On the "pro" side, The food they serve for breakfast is very adequate as is the reception supper. The staff is very friendly but don't speak much English. The pool is well maintained. I have seen them drain the pool twice and refill it with fresh water and the chemical levels are checked quite frequently. This is also generally a quiet place to stay. On the "cons", which aren't major, the beds tend to be a bit firmer than my taste. Don't ask the housekeeping staff anything because they don't speak English. The stairway door latches and closers need some TLC (they tend to slam). I really like this place though and for me at least it's my "home away from home".

We stayed here for 2 nights with a number of couples for a family event. The hotel was convenient, clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. We had a two room suite with a sofa bed in the living area as well as a full kitchen which we didn't use. The breakfasts were large with a good choice. We received a good rate as part of a group booking and we would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends.

Great breakfast and complimentary manager's reception every night - the food was plentiful and delicious, with a great variety too! The accommodations and decor made the place feel like home. Would definitely stay here again!
