This Best Western is located a few miles north of town on US 59. We stayed at it based on good reviews on tripadvisor and were a bit disappointed. It was not a bad place but the service on check in was slow (though very friendly), the faucet in the room was loose, and things seemed a bit worn. The hotel also accepts both smoking and pets, which some will like while others will object to the smell of cigarettes in the halls and common areas and /or to possible difficulties in rooms that have had pets. In general I would not recommend it, thinking something such as the Hampton would be a better choice for a night in Nacogdoches. I rate it poor rather than average in a close call. It is actually somewhere in between.
