Stayed here recently for three nights. Absoutely wonderful and idyllic place - both the B&B and the Isle of Skye. One of the best B&Bs I've ever stayed in - top class.

Lyndale House is situated about 10 miles from Portree and about the same distance more or less from Dunvegan, so great for day trips in either direction. We spent a day at Dunvegan castle and nearby galleries and craft shops, a day in Portree area and another day driving about (again looking at galleries) and having a fabulous lunch at the Three Chimneys.

Lyndale House is located down a track off the main road and looks out over a loch - so absolutley amazing views from our bedroom window only a few hundred feet from the water's edge. Such a lovely and romantic place to relax an enjoy the peace and quiet. The house is amazing - the owners restored it from a wreck and have done so sympathetically and lovingly. Lots of personal touches about the place and lovely antiques. Our elegant room had it's own bathroom - not ensuite but really spacious and again beautifully decorated.

Breakfasts were wonderful - organic and locally sourced and set us up well for each day's sightseeing. Loved the smoked salmon and home grown scrambled eggs!

Yet again this B&B confirmed our belief that luxurious B&Bs run by friendly and caring people are well worth it and far better than any impersonal hotel.
