we went away as 2 seperate couples, looking for a cheap winter break. The first apartments we were given were on the ground floor just as you turn left by the pool, they were a disaster, in terms of cockroach infestation. When we approached the manager to ask to be moved he was really rude and said what did we expect for a cheap hotel, eventually he moved us higher up and this was a big improvement, the only down side was we were sandwiched between a lads holiday of about 10 guys and the noise from the night club next door, which felt like it was playing the music on our heads as we treied to sleep. The solution was to make a bed on the floor in the loung area. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A BASE TO SLEEP, EAT then this place is ok for that, i would not have comfortable bringing my 2 small children as it was quite dead.
Whilst we stayed there for the week we did not use the pool once, we prefered walking 10-15 minutes to the beach, which was lovely.
Dont expect luxury but if your not fussy then you'll be fine there

Luckily for me i took ear plugs but my friend didnt so every night she wasnt actually getting to sleep until at least 4am, we were also unluckily situated above a strip club and the pub that is underneath the apartments!
The apartments were cheap and cheerful.
Be warned as we didnt get told this but sunbeds are 1 euro per day!
Would stay again... yes but not above the pub and strip club.

We have just arrived back from staying in a privately rented apartment in Las Floritas. We have two young children. This private rental wasn't the cheapest, however as we joined my parents for a week during their month long stay, we can't really grumble at the price! My mum had stocked up on basics such as a potato peeler, cutlery and glasses as there were none at the apartment. The mop bucket that was located in the spare lounge cupboard ( where we hung our clothes) stunk of urine and the bathroom sink and cabinet was hanging off the wall. The owner was not particularly bothered about any problems and it was only thanks to the maintenance man that we were given blankets for our bedding! He even came and sorted the safe as it jammed with our passports and money in it!

The worst problem was the noise. The acoustics are awful and every night we were awoken by drunks shouting, swearing and banging on doors. The noise started early evening with music from downstairs, ( or parties in upstairs apartments) and continued all through the night with the departure and arrival of loud drunks. It made me extremely proud to be British! One morning I was awoken at 5 am to swearing, shouting and banging. By this time I had had enough and went out to confront the culprits. Reception were not interested, in fact every time I walked past the staff were watching a DVD! They told me that there was nothing that they could do. Locals told me that I should have called the police.

The pool was lovely and great for the children, I would just warn that this is more a place for 18-30 holiday goers rather than a nice relaxing family break. Tenerife in itself was lovely. The locals were fab, great weather, good food, and good amenities. It was just a shame that when we booked were were not advised of the closeness to the main road, bar, or indeed strip club and brothel ( situated just under this apartment hotel. Mind you, if I was a private renter raking in the money, would I omit to tell you that??!!

Stayed here as part of a stag do nov/ dec 11. The hotel is very basic and staff were less than friendly. However paying what we did, we got what we expected. The location for such an occasion is perfect, only a short walk to main bars and clubs. The pub next door (whisky jar) is good for food but watch out the barman tends to add sambuccas to ur bill after telling u they were free!!!!
