“Not for us.”

I wouldnt normally write a review as i feel that some people just like to complain for the sake of it,however dont stay at paradero appts. We stayed in paradero 2 which is in a good area if as soon as you walk out of th door you want harrasing by all the PR reps for the linekers bar and veronicas strip. At linekers youll be told you get 4 pints for ten euros which when you think about it seems a good deal. When you get in they take your money straight away then you get given two pints of watered down slop, not the 4 pints offered. Anyway back to paradero 2. When we arrived we were dropped off at hotel paradise de sol who knew nothing of our booking and told to go to caribe appts up the road, luckily at caribe they had us booked in and we thought 'yeah this looks sound', but no we were then put in a taxi and sent to paradero 2,this isnt the hotels fault it was our holiday providers fault they will tell you that paradero 2 is next door and never even mention checking in at caribe. The picture used to advertise paradero is also caribe appts pool area paradero 2 doesnt have one. You are welcome to use the pool at caribe but you will struggle to get a sun bed as its only a small area compared to size of hotel and the caribe residents obviously get there first. You will also find reception staff at caribe to be arrogant and rude. Paradero 2 appts are small and reletively clean, all having balconies so dont be tricked into paying more for one when booking. The road outside is never quiet especially noisey around 4am-7am, and if like us your appt is right at the side of the road some of the people still out at that time may find it amusing to ring your doorbell. We were there self catering but the kitchen facilities were basic there wasnt a kettle or a toaster. The cleaners were good seemed to be in everyday and will change towels whenever you require them. This again isnt hotels fault but on our last night i was pick pocketed by a spaniard claiming to be PR for a bar, luckily for him i had all the cash we had left and both our bank cards in my wallet (stupid i know). This left us with the total of 8.85euros to get thru to our flight home. Also in my wallet i had the appt keycard so we were locked out. After 3 trips to caribe for keys that worked we finally got in the room. The next morning i went up to caribe to find out if they had any info on our pick up time and transfer as i had a phone number for bus provider in tenerife but couldnt get thru and when i did understandbly they didnt speak english i asked receptionist at caribe if she could help and she told me it wasnt her problem i explained to her what had happened regarding having no money and needing to find out this tranfer info as i wouldnt be able to afford a taxi to the airport she just sat there and smirked at me and snapped that we had to be out of the appt by 12. After many phone calls i found out our transfer time of 15.40. So with no money and no means to get any we duly left the room at 12 as requested by the smirking little hitler at caribe, and sat by the side of the road with our bags until 16.00 when transfer finally picked us up. Dont book with low cost packages youll just be dumped at a resort with no on site rep and very unhelpful indian speaking staff when you ring for help and have to play a guessing game as to which hotel is yours as the shuttle bus drivers just stop and open the door. Will not be visiting again

“wasted week, paradise lost.”

We paid Flexitrip through Thomas Cook over £1000 for 7 days for 2 of us, What a joke on us, we were dropped off at the back of the apartments with no instructions telling us to go to a hotel a good 1/4 mile down a path over a 50 metre wide storm drain and up a hill track that resembled Ben nevis. Our room was dreadful, no phone, no TV, no AIR/CON, the furniture was old grimy and covered in carved graffiti, the toilets were horrible, see through towels etc,, we found out the second day where the pool was as no,one at the complex explains a thing to you, it was miles away as well from our room. We met a couple of nice people at the bar who all paid less than half of what we paid, someone made a few bob out of us, you feel such a fool, we couldnt sleep at night with the the heat and the hotel very kindly rented us a couple of small fans for 10 Euros each for the rest of the stay, Thomas Cook! never again, Flexitrip never again, Paradero apartments give it the widest berth ever unless you can only afford peanuts for a break.

Room Tip: Stay away from this place nothing good about it.

“Never again”

When we booked the holiday the travel company said there was a swimming
pool and there was NO pool at Paradero II. We were dropped off outside
a strip club late at night and there were prostitutes on the street.
The company we booked with did not give us any instruction that we had
to collect the key from the Cairbe apartment. When we found our room
the kitchen sink was stained and there was a bad smell in the apartment
of stagnant water. The towels were changed every other day but they had
marks on them It was VERY NOISY all night long, every night. We did not
get any sleep the whole holiday. We would never stay at Paradero II
again.

Room Tip: Only 10 mins walk to waterpark Siam. Lovely family run restaurant Neptune over the road.

“Basic but very happy with accommodation”

I don't normally write reviews but after reading some bad reviews on the hotel/apartments I thought I would, staff are friendly location is brilliant 5 mins to beach 10 mins to Siam park, rooms are basic but clean in one week the maids changed bedding 3 times and cleaned room everyday, bed was ok, fridge was cold for your beers, grounds were tidy and clean, there was 2 lads with me and plenty of young groups of girls and lads but were not noisy, if you want a cheap holiday this is a good place to look I enjoyed it

“good location - okay hotel”

Spend one week in march at hotel paradero ll - Good location - okay room a bit run down - kitchen - balcon - small tv, but you gotta pay to see anything.

Good things about the hotel :
location - cozy - pool - bar by the pool - restaurent 10 euro buffet - pool table.

Bad things about the hotel :
arrogant reception staff - you gotta pay to see tv - no internet in the rooms - bathroom in run down.

But all in all a nice place to spend a week - close to beach and the great Siam waterpark - 30 euro entrance.
