OK ok, so it is full of 'workers' but think of the pro's..... 'tourists' can have the pool to themselves until at least 4pm, the bar is always quiet so you're guaranteed to get served quickly, there are plenty of people to make friends with to get cheap drinks/free entry/special deals at all the bars on Veronica's and Starko's.
After a while, you seriously get used to the cockroaches, and if not then a lighter and a can of deodorant is a fabulous repellant, just remember not to step on them as you carry the eggs!
The only thing I would warn people about is the security guards, they are a little 'slap happy' and are not afraid to get their batons out and their tear gas!! All in all, it's a great place and I had the BEST summer there, granted I was a 'worker' so it was slightly different, but I would choose to go back there!!

The hotel is full of bar workers from the UK, everyone sleeping in each others rooms, its filthy, there is no maid, the lift didnt work, rooms were constantly getting broken into! This place needs to be shut down for health and safety reasons!

Dreadful place to stay. Cockroaches everywhere, unfriendly/unhelpful staff. I got electric shocks from the sockets of the apartments. Cooker wasnt working and no one was interested, decided to eat out from there on in. At night you were frightened to leave your room alone, as the corridors were pitch dark.
Liked Tenefire, hated Playa Honda. Wouldnt return even if i were paid.

were do I start, dirty filthy, apartments, filthy swimming pool, god knows what flotting in it. and we were in apartment a friend bought, and did up a bit, but you cant make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. I think she made the biggest mistake of her life buying in playa honda. 18/30 kept us awake all night fighting/ she did'nt mentchion it was for the 18/30's. cockerroaches every where, we stayed 3 days and got out the last straw was the vagrants who sleep in the park opersite begging outside the apartment. moved into parque santiargo111. like paradise after playa honda. please heed this warning and stay clear it's a dump!!!!!!!!!!
