This is the worst hotel I have ever stopped in, the doors didn't fit properly so you had to fill the 2" gaps on a night with toilet paper to stop the cockroaches that had not already got in getting in, the french doors didn't lock but no one was interested. The hotel was filthy and the beds never got changed. The kitchen was minging and the staff were unhelpful. The corridors were not lit on a night so it was pitch black. If you are thinking of going to this hotel I'd stongly advise against it. If I'd of know it had been on Holidays from Hell I would never have booked it!!!

Stayed here for one week on a late deal to party in Tenerife.Me and 2 friends had a great time, apartment/hotel was basic but clean and secure.Staff were helpful and its in a great location just 5 mins walk from the nightlife.

All in all perfect for what we wanted would defo go back!!!

We went to stay at Playa Honda for 2 weeks; bought as a last minute bargain we weren't expecting the Hilton, but to say we weren't happy is an understatement!
The staff only spoke English when it suited them, our top floor apartment was crawling in bugs - ants in the broken fridge and cockroaches just about everywhere else!
We didn't stick around to try the food so i'll not comment on that.
However, the experience of the hotel was so bad, I'd never return to Tenerife, which seems a shame when Los Cris is so lovely.

OK ok, so it is full of 'workers' but think of the pro's..... 'tourists' can have the pool to themselves until at least 4pm, the bar is always quiet so you're guaranteed to get served quickly, there are plenty of people to make friends with to get cheap drinks/free entry/special deals at all the bars on Veronica's and Starko's.
After a while, you seriously get used to the cockroaches, and if not then a lighter and a can of deodorant is a fabulous repellant, just remember not to step on them as you carry the eggs!
The only thing I would warn people about is the security guards, they are a little 'slap happy' and are not afraid to get their batons out and their tear gas!! All in all, it's a great place and I had the BEST summer there, granted I was a 'worker' so it was slightly different, but I would choose to go back there!!
