“Clean hotel, excellent staff and nice location”

We were greeted at the reception with a glass of cava and we asked for a room as far away from the bar as possible. Our wish was granted, and we checked in in less than five minutes. Our two-room apartment had a great layout, with two balconies. The rooms are a little worn, but the cleanliness makes up for it.

We had all incusive, which was a good deal and exactly what one should expect from a 4-star. More vegetables would have been nice, and proper bacon for breakfast would have been great. We were not sure what the "bacon" consisted of.

The bar area got pretty loud at night, so it was a good thing our room was located at the opposite end of the resort.

We booked the hotel as part of a charter trip, and it was supposed to have free wifi. The community wifi was so slow and crippled that it was of no use, but we´re not sure if this is a part of the responsibility of the hotel. There is a free bus to Los Cristianos, which takes around 10 minutes.

Room Tip: Ask for a room as far away from the bar as possible, and as high up as possible. The stairs get nois...

“Lost Purse”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

people found this review helpful

I must start by stating that i have not personally stayed at this resort how ever my stepson and his girlfriend have, they had a great time and found every thing fine and really enjoyable. I come in at the point they left the Resort, and unforgivably left a purse in their room. The Purse was found containing the normal things (money, cards driving licence etc) The Resort tried to contact the owner to no avail, I phoned the Resort on my stepson's behalf to be told that the purse had been handed in by the Director of the Resort (so they do check the rooms properly to ensure they are right for the next occupant) I Offered a tip to the staff as per my instructions this i was told was not necessary. The resort sent the purse the same day by Registered post it arrived in the UK only to be first of all lost by the post office and eventually sent back to the Resort, some weeks later, Eva at the resort again sent the purse this time it arrived all contents intact
I must say that this reflects on all the staff from the top down and that i have never dealt with such polite and honest staff

Regards
G Drake

“Nice relaxing holiday, good accomodation, entertainment ok.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

I stayed here 16-23rd December 2011. On arrival the receptionist was very thorough with the information regarding the complex. We were allocated a room right at the top, yes there were lots of steps but there were also ramps you could use instead of taking the steps. The appt was nicely furnished but the steps down to the master bedroom and bathroom did worry me a little so our children slept downstairs with us for the whole week but the bed was extremly comfy! The only negatices I would say is that the bathroom was a little cramped and the walls very thin. We had a smoker next door to us that had the most horrendous cought and this kept me awake a lot of the time once they arrived. The Complex is kept nice and clean. We enjoyed the jacuzzi pool this also seemed to be the warmer pool, althought i didn't try the bottom pool my husband said it was a lot colder. We did get up about 7.30 to reserve our sunbed but there were plenty of sunbeds about later.

There was plenty of food and we never struggled for something to eat. There wasn't as much fruit selection on a morning as there have in other all-inclusives but there was enough to keep me happy. There was plenty of different meats available on a night, like beef, gammon, chicken etc these were all nice joints of meat carved in front of you and also plenty of seafood which i love!. Pretty much the same as other all inclusives we have been on before. The dining area was a little cramped inside but outside wasn't as bad. We did find the dining area better if you got there earlier on a morning at about 8.00 and 6.30 is on a night. The staff were always so nice and friendly too.

The entertainment was ok, there was a kiddies disco each night but the dance floor and entertainment stage was quite small. The little ones enjoyed it and my kids joined in a couple of times. Compared to our summer holiday the entertaiment wasn't as good as the reps were crazy at Suite Hotel Atlantis Resort but the girls did try really hard. I think the entertainment got better as the week went on and on our last night the reps had everyone up dancing to the club song. They should have done this every night as everyone seemed to enjoy it.

The Hotel was a little far out but taxis waited outside and the hotel also put on a free bus although we never use it as the times they ran didn't suit us. We did get the bus to Siam Park and back. One day we decided to walk to Las Amdericas and it didn't take that long although approx 20 minutes my son (5) was complaining so we ended up with a taxi back which was 5 euros. Los Cristianos was a lot closer but we never managed to walk there.

We were impressed with the reception and maintenance staff, we had a bulb out and within 5 minutes of us ringing reception the maintenance guy was there and fixed it within no time at all.

I would definately return to this hotel for another winter break as we did have an enjoyable stay here.

Dear Guests,

We would like to thank you for publishing your comments and recommendations. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay, we would also remind all our future guests travelling with children that you can request a security door for the stairs; this is only necessary in case you have booked 1 Bedroom Apartment which are in two levels.

“A good 4 star Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2011

Hotel was good value for money. We had a standard apartment which was more then good enough for us.It was in the top corner and yes theres stairs but also pathways and you cannot complain about the stairs as these are mentioned in the Hotel details. The food was also very good with theme nights and a good choice of food at all times with also your normal kids selection for the Fussy eaters like our 5 year old.Do not know why with evening meals available till 9PM complaints come in about not being able to get food after this time.If you are still hungry after the all you can eat buffet then well maybe nothing will please some. The drinks again where good with so called prime brands also available for a small charge. The evening entertainment again was ok.Finished most nights by 10.30 which with alot of young children around was about right. If further enterainment was required a taxi into town was available just outside the hotel.Cannot understand complaints ref the distance from town as this again was in the hotel details so how can you complain about something which you already knew about and it was only a 20 minute walk or a cheap taxi ride.Staff were friendly but not in your face and the children entertainers were very good with the children. If you go expecting a good 4 star hotel and take notice of the hotel details then you will have a great time.If you want 5 star then go and pay for it

Room Tip: Ask for a room by the Pool if stairs are a problem
