These villas are spacious, very clean and have the best views from the roof terrace as well as fully fitted kitchens. The only drawback is the lack of fans or air conditioning which meant that we had to keep the windows open all night and if you have noisy neighbours it can be hard to sleep. But that's just one small complaint from an otherwise wonderful holiday. The pool is small but sufficient and the walk up a steep hill to the villa got easier with time. The beach is the best feature of the holiday - miles of sand not overcrowded with garish umbrellas and sunbeds as are too often a feature on Canary Island beaches. The resort itself is small and quiet, not many bars and there are few decent places to eat. The best bet is to cook at the villa and enjoy dinner on the roof terrace watching the sunset until the lighthouse comes on at dusk. Or visit the exquisite Marabu restaurant, just a short taxi ride away, but worth it for the excellent carpaccio and fish dishes. Best meal of the holiday and equals any I've had in London!
The lack of loud english tourists also turned out to be a bonus (the resort is mainly frequented by German holidaymakers). And I recommend hiring mountain bikes to see the rest of the beachfront along the seaside promenade.
Best holiday iin the Canaries I have had for a long time - although we were looking for a relaxing holiday and becauseit was so quiet that was exactly what we got!
