We stayed here in August 2011. I was with my husband and 2 children. (aged 11 and 14). The appartments were basic, but were clean and the pool was lovely. There is a small quiet beach just a few hundred yards up the road and the main beach is a little further. Even though it was during the school summer holidays, the appartments didnt appear to be full at all. Would recommend if you want a quiet break away.

This hotel really is just somewhere to lay your head at night and nothing more. There is no entertainment, there are no activities and there is no atmosphere whatsoever around the small pool. Luckily Santa Ponsa has a lot going on and there are loads of place to go and the beach is great, BUT another downer is that this hotel is not right in the resort (I think it´s the last hotel on the road out of town), so you have to walk every day and night to the main resort centre where everything is happening. In the heat of August this was a pain and by the third day peed us off. We would pay a bit more next time and stay in a proper hotel in a good area.

Just got back and loved it. Apartments clean, staff friendly, nice clean pool and the hotel was full but could always get a sun bed. The beach is only about 7mins stroll from the hotel. There is another smaller beach if you turn right out of hotel only 2 mins away. Surfing playa is the quieter side to santa ponsa but don't worry there are still lots of bars and restaurants, Try bobys for an English breakfast on the left heading towards the beach, also bar rumba good English pub but for an evening meal you MUST try NO. 8 the food is amazing, you might have to book though it is always full. Also try fat sams near the beach good food. I would never get hotel transfers for Santa ponsa it takes to long, can be well over an hour, just walk outside the airport and jump into one of the many taxis 15 mins and your there 45 euros,simple. Hope this will be helpful.......enjoy.

excellent apartments,in a brilliant area and a good resort,santa ponsa has got everything,
we managed to get sunbeds at any time of the day,weather was scorching,
room excellent,staff excellent,what more can i say except book this hotel you wont be dissapointed ,also it is the right price
try rickys bar near to to hotel,we found it better than most for meals and snacks
also try the watering hole for a great service and good price drinks
